Whether Vuong is truly guilty (considering his colleagues, I might suggest that he is), one might never have a legal answer because the lop-sided and inefficient legal system, unelected judges, and the Liberals who expect to skate away on whatever slime and crime they do.
Until you are convicted of a crime, no crime can be held against you. Innocent until proven guilty, something the left doesn’t understand. He does not have to prove innocence, the onus is on the prosecution to convict.

Vuong has denied the allegations, and the charges against him have been dropped. So why should he resign? And why is Sue-Ann Levy, an alleged conservative, joining extreme leftists like Adam Vaughan and Joe Cressy in calling for his resignation?
Spadina-Fort York is one of the most left-wing ridings in the country. The CPC and PPC combined got just over 23% of the vote there, so an independent MP is the best that conservatives could possibly hope for, especially in a minority parliament.
It would be nice if conservatives in this country would quit scoring ridiculous own-goals like calling for this guy’s resignation when he will simply be replaced by a Liberal or NDP MP with 100% certainty.

Interesting that he was nailed with firearms charges over this incident. Not clear if this was use of a firearm to threaten, or use of a prohibited weapon, or both. Good heavens, maybe it was an AR-15! What it looks like is that he was assaulting and threatening his “partner” with a firearm in their home, where he wasn’t supposed to be (presumably restraining order). Three months probation – geez it must be nice to be member of the protected class when you’re a total scumbag.
