Not having the shot doesn’t automatically mean that one now has Covid and is infectious now and forever, yet you are acting as though it does.
The reality is…I still don’t automatically get Covid if I don’t take the shot. I MIGHT get it…the risk at any given moment is around 1-2% if one is in proximity to an infected person. IF I get it. for one to two weeks, I might be infectious. During that time I’m likely going to limit my contact with others anyway, and then I’m going to get over it and then I will then be IMMUNE…CAN’T get it…CAN’T transmit it.
It appears that this immunity is robust and long-lasting.
So the choice is take the jab, which DOESN’T confer robust immunity, and run the risk of immediate adverse side-effects, plus the unknown that is the potential for vaccine-enhanced illness, plus a whole gamut of unknown medium and/or long term adverse reactions.
Or
Take the chance on getting the virus, with the attendant risk of serious Covid, but acquiring robust immunity. With that is additional unknown that is the potential to pass it on to someone else (who may in tern actually benefit from acquiring robust immunity also). Once again, the shots don’t eliminate the possibility or either being infected or transmitting it.
To me, that’s an easy decision.
But it’s a decision I have to make for myself, based on my circumstances. Nobody else can make it for me…not some random Karen down the street, and DEFINITELY not some bureaucrat or politician!
Also I’m not going to make your decision for you…I believe that to be highly unethical.
