PEI should be part of N.S. and have 1 MP and 1 Senator representing it.
If all provinces were allocated 1 MP for every 100k citizens from the census each decade, we wouldn’t have a situation with AB and BC so underrepresented, nor PEI having such over governance, and having 20% of their gov’t funding provided by the producing provinces.
Same number of Senators for each province, and the idea of wiping history for being offensive, backfires on places like PEI when we actually do_not_care that PEI was the “first province” as if that matters 1 iota.

I went to Belgium and visited the restored Ypres Cloth Factory, which is now a WW 1 museum. At the end of the exhibit all of the allied nations had a collage of war pictures. Britain, Australia, New Zealand and Canada were represented. Every nation displayed photos of soldiers, nurses, combat, and memorials to the fallen. Canada? Only pics of First Nations standing by the St Julien memorial, Sorrel, Hill 62, Passchendaele and Ypres. It appeared as if only the First Nations of Canada participated in that hellish war.
I complained to our heritage ministry about this and received the usual Liberal-Speak virtual signaling response. That is the Canada I now live in.

Females raised children, cooked, toiled, and chewed animal hides to soften (tanning was a “settler” technology) before smoking (curing) them – until their teeth wore out. If still alive, she would have been a great grandmother at her age (mid-forties?).
