  1. Fuck off.
If you cannot see the difference between evacuating your men, like Biden did, and letting them get shot to pieces like Obama did, then you’re a piss-poor journalist.
Or do you want the American taxpayer to subsidize some kind of “regime change” in that shithole, with their fucking lives?
    Get a grip, OJ.

    1. An exit strategy without a contingency plan will not end well. Unlike the fiasco in the fall of Saigon, the Taliban won’t be satisfied like the NVA who flipped the bird to the US. The Taliban do not like us and will bring the war back over to North America.

      1. You have said basically nothing. If you think we need to bomb the world to stop it from bombing us, then you are on glue. It was the fucking Saudis who did 9/11, and we did nothing but defend them, so fuck off. You wanna fight for the globalists, go ahead, don’t ask everybody’s else’s kids to do the same.

        1. It was foolish to go in without a plan for total victory in the first place. Remember, they punched first. Doing nothing was not an option.
Now that withdrawal is being done there needs to be a means to make sure they stay over there.
Your belligerent style of arguing puts you in the same category of the leftists. No substance, make lots of growling noises to make up for it.

  2. Meanwhile … in a darkened room in Chappequa… SHE is rubbing her hands muttering “Taliban came, they saw – Ghani died” … cackle, cackle, cackle.

Xiao Byedin-Heiress jump-starts the Arab Spring. All over again.

    1. Do you think it is America’s job to stop evil regimes from running countries? If so, I suggest you concentrate on Canada, after all we got lotsa resources, oil, and we are run by an evil regime. Afghanistan belongs to Russia, deal with it.

      1. It was always a piece in The Great Game, as it was called in the 19th century, between Britain and Russia.

        1. That was back when our leaders defended us from invasion by foreigners, and banditry, and our governments were not bandits. Before bureaucracy.
          That was then.
          This is now.

          1. Oh, there was bureaucracy in those days. After all, someone had to run the Empire. But, I take your point. Loyalty to one’s country and its values was paramount and a matter of pride and duty.

          2. In the 19th century, the bureaucracy was on the side of the British Merchant Adventurers, a class that shall never again exist, as they spread civilization around the world.
            You’re a kraut, you wouldn’t understand. 😉

          3. There is nothing that perfidious Albion fears quite so much as the honest and industrious Teuton.

      2. “Afghanistan belongs to Russia, deal with it.”

LOL, says who? Not even the Siberian Mongols want anything to do with this permanently dysfunctional shithole. As others have already pointed out it should have been nuked after 9/11.

Besides not even russia belongs to russia. Pisslam is spreading faster throughout russia than throughout anywhere in EUrinall. Mooselimbs breed, Siberian Mongols abort at a rate that would Canadian abortion mills blush. And what mooselimbs don’t conquer China does. Russia is fucked. Good.

          1. Hi UnMe! Hey, you figured out where the capitalization should go in YeahWell’s name. Bravo!

          2. Hey, Yeahwell….
Read geopolitics more deeply and broadly.
            In the interim, lighten up.
Oh, and, really? The British Merchant Adventures!?
            Do you mean Privateers?
            Hokay?

          3. A not-insignificant percentage of Colonista’s posts read something like a more literate version of the classic American inner-city female “oh no you di’nt!” (you can just imagine her head swinging around as though on the end of a tether). In retrospect it’s perhaps not surprising that she hates the po-po far beyond the point of reason.

      3. The Pentagon likes to stay busy, and Islamic Nations are ripe pickins. That is … Apart from their making the American military carbon neutral. Apart from advancing Transgender’s to the highest ranks. Apart from teaching CRT to the ranks. Apart from weeding out any Trumpista Q-anon fan boys from the military.

Nah, we like having a weak, but cuddly, Canada on our northern border. Your Master and Commander is so gay! We like and support that here in the US. You Canadians just keep being the most “liked” nation on earth. We will do the dirty jobs that the Canadian military just won’t do!

        1. You mean Canadian political class, not military. Canadians were excellent in the Afghan sh!thole, under Stephen Harper, and did a lot more of the dirty jobs than just the lovely sniping of the Patricias.

          1. Oh!? Justin sock puppet hasn’t filled the Canadian military ranks with people like Gen. Milley?

  3. Shoulda nuked Tora Bora in ’01 or whenever the fuck they discovered Bin Laden was hiding out there.
Then they should have killed every member of Pakistan’s ISI.
    With nukes? Sure. F’n shithole.
And so on and so forth.
    What a fucking waste.

    1. No what we should have done was nuke the Chinese in North Korea, when General MacArthur said so.
Not using huge H Bombs but tactical low yield ones.
Sent their asses scurrying back across the Yangtze.
That would have sent a large message to any present and future enemies.
Perhaps things would be different today, maybe not.

      1. Or shoulda let Russia and China have a wee nuclear war in 1969, but Nixon put the kibosh on that.

        1. Probably just as well that he did.
Hard to say if the USSR could have annihilated China, it is hard to kill that many cockroaches.
China could have beat them through attrition.
That war could have gone Global although having 2 fronts to fight, Vietnam and that I think Nixon and the MIC thought better of it.

          1. Coulda let a couple nukes go off before saying “peace, my children!”
Also, it was none of our business.

        2. No, actually russia should have been nuked in 1945. That would have solved all subsequent problems. That and go Pinochet on all commies domestic.

          1. Islam and the left are not Russian things.
Russia is still full of men, not faggots.
You just can’t handle the fact that the west is cooked, and cares more for the weakest persons feelings than the life of the unborn or the right of a man to be armed.

          2. “Um, not viable at that time.
Not enough nukes in the cupboard.”

Then few years later, by 1950 US had 300 nukes. That would have been enough to take out major troop concentration and population centers.

          3. “Islam and the left are not Russian things.”

Actually russia is increasingly pisslamic, close to a third of their conscripts are mooselimb.

Left is very much russian too. Russia has exported and financed left in the west for decades. Also russia has always been leftist.

“Russia is still full of men, not faggots.”

No, russia is full of bootlickers who never fail to worship their tyrants.

“You just can’t handle the fact that the west is cooked, ”

Yes I very well can. I have been stating that for a along time. You, on the other hand, just can’t stop romanticizing the Siberian Mongol mongrels.

          4. Shit, colon, I didn’t know you hated white folk so much. Are you Jewish or some kind of Native Indian, or maybe a self-hating Pict?

          5. Siberian Mongols aren’t white, mentally that is (if by white you refer to civilizational allegiance) as the last time they belonged to civilization was 1611.

          6. Slavs are white, asshole.
Seems you like baby-killing, gun-grabbing censorious assholes more than you like the last free men on the planet.
            Good for you, nigga!

          7. Ok so you care about skin color and I care about civilization/culture. Carry on being racist then.

      2. Patton actually wanted to continue marching east in 1945, and eliminate Russia, as he knew it was the threat.

“Patton rejoined: “I understand the situation. Their [the Soviet] supply system is inadequate to maintain them in a serious action such as I could put to them. They have chickens in the coop and cattle on the hoof — that’s their supply system. They could probably maintain themselves in the type of fighting I could give them for five days. After that it would make no difference how many million men they have, and if you wanted Moscow I could give it to you. They lived on the land coming down. There is insufficient left for them to maintain themselves going back. Let’s not give them time to build up their supplies. If we do, then . . . we have had a victory over the Germans and disarmed them, but we have failed in the liberation of Europe; we have lost the war!””

        1. Too bad he had no troops left. Myself, I wanna nuke Mecca, and lead an army to free Canada, so people there can be free to carry guns and sell things without a chip surveillance them, but heck, no troops. Life is hard, eh?

  4. I’m no fan of Biden. But I gotta say that this was the inevitable end of the policy from the beginning. Anyone who studied history would’ve known the difficulties in doing anything positive in this part of the world. The only question that then remained is, on whose watch the end would come. In this case, the end would’ve come at about this time with either Trump or Biden in charge.
Also on the list of Bush 43 follies was the occupation of Iraq. Anyone with any sense of history and geography would’ve realized what was gonna happen, with the Kurds longing for their own country on one end of the country, and the Iranians making mischief on the other end (if not the entire country). At the end of the day, the Dubya team probably had to have a grudging respect for Saddam for staying in power and keeping things as calm as he did for all those years.

      1. And the Taliban and Al Quaeda certainly peaced on us, didn’t they?

  5. This was Bush’s disaster and unless you take over the nation in its entirety and drive the Islam out of the wasteland, a hundred year project that would bankrupt the US even if it weren’t already bankrupt, this result was inevitable from the start.

      1. Speaking of destroying nations.
I have a running bet with someone, not that I will ever live to collect.
That in the not too distant future, after the fall of North America, that the European Union will regather in some new format to rival even Hitlers Third Reich.
And with that become a Super Power that will go absolutely apeshit on the Muslims and turn their little piece of Paradise into a glass parking lot.
Probably fighting over some speck of rock like say Jerusalem.
Seeing that go down will make Russia and the Orientals decide to get together as not to be on the receiving end like the Muzzies.
More than likely even take the fight to the EU and down on to Jerusalem to finish them off.
Maybe even think they are fighting aliens or something coming down from the sky.

The rest of the story is at the end of a dusty 2000 year old book.

        1. Russia is Christian, it even has a state religion: Christianity, but they still kill babies, but not as much as we do, and its shamed. In Canada, you can kill a bay anytime, so long as it’s in a woman, viable or not.
Myself, I’d still fight things from the sky to the best of my ability.

          1. Ah yes religion.
Has there ever not been a war fought over it ?
Problem with fighting things from the sky is, we lose every time.
Although the Afghans have done an admiral job in enduring it.
The problem I have is, if those I am fighting from the sky are supernatural in form, then my ass is grass as they say.

          2. My God does not demand that I submit. He wouldn’t send sky troops against me. He loves me, that’s why the universe is rational, but complex. He told me not to build the outhouse too close to the well, and how to build a nuke. He gave us mastery over this wee aspect of creation, not stewardship, but mastery. It is a terrible responsibility, ours to fuck up and abuse if we see fit. Such is the compact between Man and God.
His laws come in a hierarchy:
            1. The laws of physics, which cannot be disobeyed, but only learned.
            2. Laws which say “don’t juggle chain saws while drunk” or “be careful with sharp knives”, etc, which when disobeyed, lead to risk of immediate death or disfigurement.
            3. Laws which say “Don’t murder, lie, cheat or steal”, ie kill innocents, bear false witness, covet, etc, which when disobeyed lead to societal calamity.
Such is the world as I see it.

          3. You misunderstand me.
Your God is mine as well.
What I was getting at was what was written in the last chapter of the Good Book.
Men are deceived by the Evil One into believing they are being attacked by Aliens , probably due to all the fantasy sci-fi being spouted about.
Not realizing that it is their Creator coming down to save their sorry asses from annihilating each other.
They are interrupted in their fight against each other when they decide to unite against God who ultimately wipes them off the face of the earth.

He would send sky troops against you if you fought him in the end, if you were misguided into believing it was not him, then that is on you.
As He says ” Do not tempt , the Lord your God “.

          4. It ain’t hard to tell when troops don’t wanna kill ya, as they ain’t shooting at ya.
God will not shoot at me, no matter what I do to defend my kin. He loves me and mine, and he’d even forgive me for a couple of shots against his troops if they were gonna rape my child or hurt me. His troops will be Men, after all.

          5. Were talking about different things.
You and me will not live to see Jesus return to this Earth.
And most certainly we more than likely would not take up arms against God Himself who is in physical descent to this Earth at a known physical location at Mount Olive.
As far as the Plains of Armageddo go, I sure as heLL would avoid that area entirely as I know the outcome and what the Trumpet sounds from above would mean.
So even should I ever live long enough be force conscripted to that particular army to fight I would refuse, either be shot or abandon my post and go AWOL.
But in all likelihood we will be dead before that DAY comes.

        2. I believe Hal Lindsay wrote a best selling book about that. It featured the Great Bear coming out of the North to lay some whip azz on the Tribe of Ishmael

        3. John, we are dashing headlong into our own version of Hitler’s Third Reich. I wonder has anyone been paying attention?

  6. SDA FLASHBACK!: “If You Support The Troops, support the mission. You cannot have it both ways. To withhold support for their mission is to advocate their – and our – defeat.” – Kate, January 2007

    1. The Fog of War.
Little did Kate and the rest of know at that time what the REAL mission parameters really were.
They certainly weren’t about getting in and beating their ass then retreating.
We were lied to about Afghanistan and Iraq plus numerous other wars.
How we’re we to know we were being spoonfed shit by the MSM at the time, who we hadn’t even heard the word used yet , calling them FAKE NEWS.
THEY played upon our good nature and Patriotism to bring in something more evil to control us.
      The Patriot Act.
How were we to know it was a Trojan Horse ?

Cut Kate some slack , we are a little older and wiser now.

      1. There really is no correlation between how free a society is with its own citizens and how mean it is to others. That idea is just a piece of post-modern bullshit.
THEY wanna knock us all down to the level of savages, and at the same time reap our skilled labor. Locke vs Hobb, my man.

        1. Ultimately it is the story of Good vs Evil.
The THEY you talk about are Satanic in nature and truly their end game is for all of humanity to be wiped from the surface of the Earth.
Baby steps for them , savages for now, rotting putrid corpses for later.
          Pure utter Satanic Evil.
Their god is Satan, the Father of All Lies.
The greatest LIE told by Satan to us, is that HE DOES NOT EXIST.

Incidently could your Locke be a composite of the one on the ” Lost ” tv series ?

          1. I dunno, I don’t watch TV.
Good will allow you to become evil.
Evil will not let you become good.

Once again, the free will that God gives us comes onto play.

    1. ” A statement from Smith’s campaign office goes a step further, saying that “The reason behind the disallowing of Smith’s candidacy is his opposition to calls for implementation of mandated workplace vaccinations and vaccine passport requirements in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.”

      We’ll there you have it.
It’s like the CPC want to lose to Dear Leader.

Who da fuc do I even cast a losing vote for now ?

    2. “Certain public health guidelines” are absolute police state BS. You bring the diesel fuel; I’ll supply the matches.

  7. The very idea that a society that can’t figure out the difference between a man’s and a women’s toilet should have some kind of say on the world stage is insane.

    1. Yeahwell,
You have jumped the shark in this thread.
      Relax.
      God loves you and me.
      Hang tight.
      The burden can be light.
      Darkest before the light.

  8. Interesting fun fact.
I don’t recall if Canada had an embassy in Saigon when it fell. I do know that we did not get involved in that war either.
But we where involved in this one and we do have an embassy in Afghanistan.

Does the sock monkey have contingency plans in place if our folks have to suddenly decamp?

History has documented what happens to foreigners when they have had to leave that country.
One such disaster was when the British retreated out of Kabul.
A more recent record is when the Soviets retreated chased out by the same methods.

They do not let you escape unscathed and it can be quite brutal.
    Like ISIS brutal.

    Say a prayer.

    1. I don’t recall if Canada had an embassy in Saigon when it fell.

It did and its departure in April 1975 wasn’t this country’s finest hour.

The embassy fence was besieged by people wanting to get out of the country as the NVA was closing in. The day the embassy was closing and the staff skedaddled when ordered by PET, the Vietnamese were told to “come back tomorrow”….. after everyone had gone.

A good reason to be proud to be Canadian, wasn’t it?

  9. There’s only one way to deal with a shithole country like Afghanistan: go in and kick the living shit right out of it – then pack up and head home after leaving a note saying that if you ever have to come back, their next pounding will be worse.

And if you’re not prepared to do that, you may as well stay the hell at home.

They want democracy about as badly as they want Judaism.

    1. 100% agree.

Regardless of what the Afghanis call themselves, the underlying problem is islam, and in Afghanistan they’re just a little more devout than some other countries.
If the US or Russia or China in the future wanted to win Afghanistan for civilization, they’d have to delete islam. I don’t see anyone on the western stage willing to do that, nor even refer to what is the poison that sustains Afghanistan.
Just commenters on certain blogs say things like this.

I agree with very much of “YeahWell” comments above too.

And these gov’t paid idiots at the BBC, (I check soccer scores there sometimes, don’t judge me…)
were asking yesterday if the Taliban will serve justice harshly or have some mercy on those who have fought it for the past 2 decades. I don’t know if a news organization can be more oblivious to reality than the BBC. Mind numbingly idiotic.

      https://www.bbc.com/news/world-asia-58191638

      1. NATO helped write the Afghan constitution. Article 1: Afghanistan is an Islamic Republic. Article 2: Sharia is its law. ALl other articles are irrelevant. NATO helped set up an Islamic republic while the last churches were burnt down.

        1. …while the NATO leaders import Muzzies into all NATO countries as fast as they can.
…and we worry about China. Brainwashed fools, the lot of us, and we’ll get our due.

    2. They want girls going to school, like they want a COVID-sub-Variant outbreak. Everything will quickly reverting to the 7th Century … or else. And the whole nation knows what the or-else is.

A very wealthy retiree in my community has been supporting girls schools in Afghanistan since America dropped our first MOAB on the reprobate Taliban hideouts. He’s built schools, collected food, clothing, and educational materials. I expect he will have to find a new hobby.

I’m just waiting for Byedin-Heiress to announce a massive airlift of Afghan refugees to The USA. They can fly direct to Laughlin AFB … and pick up connecting flights to every RED County in the heart of America. Hey! … “refugees” throughout the world!! Come on in!! Suck down some of the $Trillions the Democrats are printing. And remember … vote Democrat. As many times as possible.

    3. Jamie.

You nailed it. Bush should have bombed the living tar out of that place. Then left.

He did and I’m guessing history will not be nice to him.
      Nor should it.

  10. L – The follow-up question, is will American troops prevent Canada from falling prey to the Taliban or Red China ? …. oops, too late.
    —————————————————————————————————————————————
Canadian special forces ready to evacuate embassy after Kandahar falls to the Taliban

Special forces troops are on standby to help evacuate Canada’s embassy in Kabul, a defence source tells CBC News.

The highly-trained soldiers are expected to work alongside allies, such as the United States and the United Kingdom, which are sending thousands of troops to the Afghan capital to aid in the partial evacuation of their embassies as security throughout the war-torn country rapidly deteriorates…

The confidential source, speaking on the condition of anonymity, said that at the moment the government has no intention of deploying a large conventional force, as both the Americans and British plan to do. (The U.S. is sending 3,000 troops, the British 600.)…

  11. Trump had a deal with all concerned – including the Taliban – that they would pull out in May. Biden stepped in, changed the date for September for stupid political reasons and spit in the face of the Taliban, adding that he did not trust them. The gloves are off as far as the Taliban are concerned.

    1. I recall reading Biden specifically mentioned September 11 as the departure date. 20 years after 9/11 2001. Very ill-fated to say the least

  12. I hear that there are bad things happening in Africa, better send our troops in…Not to secure any of our infrastructure, mind you, but for the children, such says our baby-killing leaders.
None of you is worthy to polish a good man’s boots.

    1. Piss off.
Are you worthy of tying a sandal strap?
      Quit doing this shit, brother.
You don’t have exclusive right to judge others here, the way you have so cavalierly done in this thread.

  13. You stupid a**holes.

You’ve allowed “YeahWell” to take over the narrative; wasted your time responding to *it* and let the discussion be driven away from the principal topic.

Feeding trolls only leads to them getting bigger and more offensive!

    1. Good to follow Trump’s decision to get out, but Biden of course didn’t let the armed services plan the retreat, the most difficult maneuver in war. The real fighters in the Armed Services, not the poofters like Mark Milley, probably told Biden the US would need to carpet bomb Taliban positions as the US left, and he refused it.

  14. In the years to come, journalists who venture into Afghanistan will return asking, “why doesn’t the west care” about what is done to the womenfolk (and girls) there.

After saying for 20 years that the west has no business there, and the west not having the spine to actually fight a war to win, (note the bullshit “rules of engagement”)

Afghanistan has the real islam. Let it burn, take some photos, and show the world the real islam…

Maybe China will venture in next for the mineral wealth. China knows how to deal with them… lol…

  15. YeahWell = 31 out of 80 comments.
That’s direct comments not idiot troll feeding comments.

  16. Liberal application of Vitamin B-52 right after 9-11 might have changed the Middle East picture. Too late now.

  17. The problem with Afghanistan is the major wealth generated is from opium production and extortion.
It’s gone on so long it’s embedded in the culture.
Won’t matter what flag they fly or what religion they profess it’s the family businesses that decide which way that country goes.
Containment might have been an option but their other growth industry has quite a few customers.
That other growth industry is providing safe haven for terrorist groups willing to facilitate the other two industries.
    Sort of feeds on itself.
Going in to support a “western moderate” government is fruitless as whoever becomes the puppet de jour is only there because the warlords can depend on them to talk the talk the west likes while allowing business as usual.

So what to do about Afghanistan?

Torch the poppy fields, every damn one.
Then come back in the spring and repeat.
Don’t send a diplomatic note or offer any aid.
Let them figure out that their business model is a money loser and the invisible hand of capitalism will straighten things out damn fast.
Without the poppies, they don’t have the capability to fund or operate the rest of the criminal enterprises, from the lowest thug to the top warlord. None of them work for free.

But currently there aren’t any candidates with the technology and the cajones to do the deed.

    1. I have two special forces buddies who (tried) to train the Afgan forces.
The last time I spoke with them in 2019 they said their work was for nothing.
Afgan troops just want a pay check and hate to fight. (Lazy) was the word used most often.
Both of my friends said after we left, the place would fall in 3 months. I would say they nailed it.

      1. More like the warlord sends spies with instructions to see what they do and how they do.
        With the final instructions
“Don’t worry they’ll pay you and once they leave we’ll let you keep the gun”

    1. Yes, that is a capability that is available but it requires an administration willing to ignore the criticism that will start coming from the usual idiots in the UN and the media scribes when the action starts.

Drones can be outfitted with defoliant so that nobody needs to dirty their hands, and the traitorous bastards that would tip off the taliban need to be kept out of the loop.

    2. That’s the thing about Trump vrs Biden; they couldn’t be sure that Trump wouldn’t retaliate.

  18. Sayeth YeahWell…

    1. ‘Laws which say “Don’t murder, lie, cheat or steal”, ie kill innocents, bear false witness, covet, etc’

    2. ‘I wanna nuke Mecca’
