  1. Blackie is buying the opportunistic election, period. There’s one recourse, and only one , vote the incompetent twit out.

We may not like the choices but I’ll gamble on a change when what we have is ruining the country. Another term and we will be a socialist quagmire.

  2. Well, I for one, I am very proud of your government helping newspapers get delivered onto your doorstep every day. What a shame if the printing presses were to stop. And the subsidy helps buy e-Delivery Trucks! /s

    1. That’s because they know Canadians, by and large, are brain-dead twits. The sooner this country breaks up, the better.

    1. I have friends that moved from Calgary to Mexico. They are originally from Africa and fell in love with Mexican weather and atmosphere…reminded them of home.
Best explanation for move: if they have to live under fascist dictators they may as well be were they love the climate.

    2. Sadly Mexico is starting to become “woke”! I receive the Mexican News daily…a few days ago…..Thinking of legalizing Marijuana….and legalizing same sex marriage!! Truly sad because the Mexicans are very family orientated. I am sure this is NOT the will of the people.
A huge majority of Mexicans are not tied to the “news”. Too busy working to feed/clothe their loved ones. No welfare there, no food banks. Either figure it out or…die,
I thought Mexico would be my next home but…. perhaps not,

  3. Don’t worry. O’Toole will deny press credentials to The Rebel, True North, Spencer Fernando, and all the rest while granting extra interviews to CBC. That will guarantee that he will get fair coverage, this time.

  4. Does anyone really think that any of this can be rectified by an election ? That there is ANYONE trustworthy in any established political party in this country ? The only potential semblance of change that can come from an “election” would be from voting in as many independent non-incumbent candidates in as many ridings as possible. This does not of course take into consideration the fact that media is bought and paid for and that “elections” may well be a sham in this country too. Not holding my breath for change…

    1. It doesn’t matter which political party is in power. The true motor of the government has always been the civil service bureaucrats. They are worse now because they are now flaming unicorn fart studies graduates bent on Venezualing the country into a people’s paradise.

    2. Sorry, the number of citizens (I won’t refer to them as Canadians) who vote for a living now outnumber the number who work for a living.

  5. “…“timely information they require from their government,” Guilbeault wrote in a letter to MPs: “Reliable news is perhaps more important than ever.”

He means timely information their government requires them to get. And “news” the government can rely on is more important than ever.

  6. We still haven’t received any information on what that “confidential” meeting between the Liberals and the media was all about. Just that it had something to do with the election.

    1. I’ve asked that question several time now, and I think I have the answer, John.

  7. With 6public money he will not tell us who got it. I’m sorry this is theft and bribary

    1. The Liberal Party of Canada knows only this way to operate. Has been this way for a long time.

  8. Whew…..! I’m safe, I don’t watch or listen to any media that would be on our ‘dear leaders’ list of media in need of emergency relief !!

  9. I think in watching what happened in the last US election if you cheat and get caught-who cares. You won and it won’t change anything.
