      1. I wonder when they will build the generating capacity to charge them? I wonder when they will realize that electric cars are not green unless that is the colour they are painted? I wonder how many more years we have until we are starving in the streets because of the governments we elect?

          Has anyone figured out how well they’ll work in the cold white north and imagined fizzling out in a blizzard?

          2. I wonder when they’re going to install the extra generation and network hardware to double the capacity of the electric grid. Until that’s 5-10 years along, they’re not serious.

            We also can’t forget doubling Copper mining, and other green requirements meaning increases of up to 7 times current mining levels of other metals.

BA, you know that all the charging stations in the world will charge nothing without a power plant, not a windmill, not a solar panel, a freaking power plant, coal, oil, natural gas or nukes. I don’t care, as there really is no such thing as perpetual motion machine. When I have said that in the past, many are unable to relate to the concept of a perpetual motion machine because their limited intellect does not allow them to grasp what has been said. I know you do.

          5. Well in Peterborough Ontario charging stations have been installed at the mall so that everyone in Peterborough who owns a Tesla has their own charging station. How great is that.

    2. Millions of tax dollars down the rabbit hole. If EV’s were any good there would be no need for the government to prop them up. The fact that the taxpayer is being forced to subsidise them is proof enough that they are a stupid idea.
      No one had to be forced or bribed by government to switch from horse and carriage to the automobile. People found them more efficient and affordable in the long run.
      EV’s are not efficient. Once Musk runs out of money, he’ll be charging for using his stations; hey, he can’t give it away forever.
      What a moonbat saves on gasoline he spends on electricity. Since it is his entire power bill he is less likely to realise that this is the reason for the increase in power costs.
      Wasting tax dollars does not grow an economy. Doesn’t matter which party is at the helm, it is stupid. And, it is the unaccountable bureaucrats who are pushing for this along with fascist number one Jerry Diaz as much as the politicians. The only thing stupider are the voters who believe this crap.

        Thanks for posting the Tal Bachman article. He pretty much nails it.

        No one person is the greatest in the world. Sure they can be a phenom, prodigy or outstanding but the greatest? At what?

        There are a lot of tricks in a recording studio. Songs are manufactured. Re recorded over and over. The pitch of a note corrected. Multi tracks. It’s endless. That is why some bands can’t create ‘their sound’ live.

        Live music us best.

        1. De nada and exactly. Lord knows I’ve tried! On the other hand, many fine live bands had trouble recreating the power of their live sound in the studio. When made King, auto tuning will be one of the first things outlawed! 😀

        2. I have no problem with a click track as long as it’s only in my headphones while laying down a track. The Beatles’ Blackbird didn’t turn out so bad, though.

  7. Great Leader Kim Sung Trudeau continues his pre-election public relations tour this morning. He will be explaining on a couple of radio stations on how wonderful he is, and then gives away money to the peasants at 12:30. He will then head for Harrington Lake for Thanksgiving with his family. But remember, you are not allowed to celebrate Thanksgiving.

    1. I think Ford has abandoned leadership. Now I suspect he is not the sharpest crayon in the box, but people liked him because he was down-to-earth and had common sense. He was relatable. With Covid, I think he had backed off of leading and is deferring to experts (Wynne bureaucrats and the corrupt Feds). Understandable to a point. He has also gotten a certain amount of approval from leftists ,which has probably gone to his head. They will start attacking him once he returns to Conservative policies. But that’s what he was elected for. Liberals continue to ruin the country, and Doug Ford needs to get out of bed with them. Covid is being used by Libs to manipulate the provinces, and it will not end well.

    1. I have also heard this. The tests are based on detecting some strand of RNA which could be almost anything– including a dead virus from a cold. A chief of public health from Bulgaria made the same claim a couple of months ago. Now here is a question: If they really have not isolated this virus, then how are they able to put together a vaccine? I think they are developing it under principles different ftom that of traditional vaccines. Most people are not aware of this.

  12. Americans should ask themselves “what happens if Trump loses?’. The Democrats have campaigned for 4 years on a anti Trump theme. An illegitimate POTUS and a rationale for all that id wrong in America. Actually not all that different from Bush just amped up. My question would be what the new theme for rationalizing radical progressive thought. I assume it will be a shift back to global warming and racism.

    The fact that the Democrat platform or the influencers behind that platform have not been fully exposed to date suggests to me that Pence lost his debate and Trump has not been as focused as needed.

We need a Canadian champion for the declaration. The declaration makes perfect sense and is a good compromise. The current situation is insane.

    1. hi, runswithbeer here, just a quick question, i just learned a woman winter texan from Sasketoon bought the mobile next to me here in south Texas. is saskatoon a liberal city? i hope she is not one or we will have a long winter. i’ve been to Moosejaw and a few other places. i had a duck hunting cottage in sandy lake, Manitoba for 15 years. sure do miss the people there, lotta good memories.
      sure will miss those harvest suppers coming up. i stayed the whole month of October. also kept Molson running a second shift.

      1. I see no one has answered you yet so I’ll give you my opinion, if I may. As an Easterner who has spent the last 24.5 years in Western Canada (Alberta) I’d say every larger Canadian city is Liberal but some smaller towns are as well. As for the provinces, most are Conservative (in name only) like Saskatchewan.

        (I generally never speak about politics with strangers and the policy has served me well. I usually assume people are Liberal – Communist)

        I used to live in “Saskabush” (as we sometimes nicknamed it) nearly 40 years ago. Back then, it was quite a conservative city with late-night shopping only on Thursdays. (That was expanded to include Fridays by the time I moved back to Alberta.)

        I haven’t been back there since the early 1990s, but I’ve gathered that its political leanings have changed considerably. Apparently, it’s now quite left-wing.

I believe the Constitution is the firm foundation upon which was built the greatest and the best political entity in the history of the world, and the most benevolent to the common man.

If you are going to fall into the trap of confusing the political overlord with the people, do you also hate the British, the French, the Germans with equal vigor?
