  13. All I saw is a PR hack whinging about the fact that reporters want to talk about things that matter instead of whatever talking points the WH has invented to deflect attention from their gross incompetence on the COVID response.

    If Trump really wants to take the high road he should immediately stop obstructing the efforts of congress to fulfill its constitutional role as check on the executive branch. Until he does that he is just a pathetic hypocrite abusing the power of his office for personal benefit and has no business accusing others of doing in the past what he his doing today.

      1. Any intellectually honest observer looking at the public evidence would conclude that Trump is guilty as charged in the Ukraine affair. The fact that the spineless bootlickers in the senate were too scared to have a real trial that called witnesses does not change this fact. Only people disconnected from reality believe that the failure to impeach means he is was innocent.

        Nor does it change the fact that Trump has and continues to fire officials responsible for oversight and use to courts to prevent congress from accessing materials needed to conduct oversight. In Trump’s world, corruption and abuse of power is perfectly acceptable as long as Trump is they one doing it.

        Trump’s ongoing abuses is why no one other than Trump enablers care about might have occurred 4 years ago. If Trump enablers want people to care about such things they need to demonstrate that they are not shameless hypocrites and demand that Trump adhere to the same standard of conduct which they are demanding from others.

Any intellectually honest observer looking at the public evidence would conclude that Mrs. Clinton and Joe and Hunter Biden should be in jail for non-discretionary breaking of laws pertaining to the storage and maintenance of government data, and enrichment of their families through what appears to be selling access and US governmental might.

          When I see what the Democrats are getting away with, I don’t care if Trump once jay-walked as a 19 year old. I see Trump’s administration (in spite of the best efforts of the Republican party) as being the best hope for the return of a justice system, as opposed to a legal system.

      Twain appears to have actually written the second part, however.

    She’s open about her faith and is anti-abortion (she spoke about that in an interview on CBN after the recent death of Ravi Zacharias); God forbid that at some point she might have done or said something that indicates that she doesn’t enthusiastically support the many causes of the alphabet community.
