  3. I’m hoping some people here might have some insight on the following question: Is it possible that regular meat customers could be subsidizing the meatless substitute puchases that more and more restaurants are now providing given that i think they are more expensive to produce?

    1. If the fake meat isn’t paying its way, all the customers are “subsidizing” it.

      The business will know how much each menu item is costing and what the profit margin is, but more of a guesstimate is how much profit opportunity are they losing if people who won’t eat meat don’t come in because there isn’t an fake meat option, and how many meat-eating friends go with them to somewhere else that does serve fake meat.

      2. And just how many people who don’t eat meat won’t come in if a restaurant does not offer counterfeit meat? Don’t most real vegans and/or vegetarians simply eat meals that don’t contain meat or fake meat?

        What did veggies eat before fake meat came on the scene?

        The whole purpose of this charade is virtue-signaling.

      Yes, probably. But are they really meatless? If yes, they may still retain a meaty taste. So what are you really getting? See below, from an article on the web:

      During my freshman undergrad year, I shared a room with an education student. Through some of our conversations, I heard of some rather fruitloop educationist doctrines and techniques. Neill’s Summerhill school, one of the best-known, was one of the more reasonable concepts.

  14. In today’s episode of “Canadians Are Racist Bastards”, Trudeau’s Toronto Star explains that Canada has white washed India’s role during World War One. They state that India lost more soldiers than Canada, and Indian soldiers led the way for Canadian troops. They also explain that at the same time, Canada was refusing immigrants from India. No word yet on whether Justin will add this to his list of tearful apologies. Don’t worry, the Star still has new Ford is Hitler stories.

    1. Early in WWI, Indian troops were trained and available so they went into the trenches in Europe. After about a year they were sent to warmer climates, mostly jousting with the Turks. Indian troops volunteered because they were paid and war was an honourable profession.

It seems the meeting Groper had with the head of Bell Media last week is paying off. Today cabinet ministers are on Bell’s TV stations ranting about the Scheer/Ford/Harper alliance. Weird rants about the food guide, long form census, science and Harper’s role, coming out of press conferences at taxpayer expense.

    Seems the company on behalf of which Canadian citizens are being held hostage and Canadian farmers are facing arbitrary bans on their produce is getting a contract from our favorite libbies. Goodale has not responded. Seems this could have waited until the Chinese sanctions were lifted if not banned outright.
