    Give the communists eight American IT firms begging for the contract to set up a censored search engine instead of one?

    Do you think the owners of the Baby Googles will give any more of a rat’s behind about the fate of Western civilization than Ma Google does? For the most part they’ll be the same people.

    No. The Trump administration needs to nationalize Google, without compensation. The current management should be put on trial for giving aid and comfort to the nation’s enemies, and if convicted, punished to the fullest extent of the law. Lock them up, throw away the keys.

    The new management, answering directly to President Trump, should be ordered to do three things:

    1. See that every citizen is given full access to all the information gathered on him by Google.

    2. Overhaul Google’s search algorithm to end the privileging of globalist, communist, Islamic and homosexual propaganda, along with the censorship of those who work to defend the nation and expose its enemies.

    3. See to it that any information in Google “files” associated with known globalists, communists, Muslims and homosexuals that could assist in successful convictions for criminal and terrorist activity be forwarded to the Department of Justice and state and local law enforcement without delay.

    For example, create branch plants in a different jurisdiction. Even in a different language.

    Dozens of US companies knowingly employ literal slave labour in Chinese factories to make products you use every day. Google providing the Chinese government with a censored/tracking search engine is on the low end of the spectrum of bad things companies are doing in China.

    Facebook has no information on you that you don’t willingly give it, and what was released is largely publicly available information anyone could find on you with a web search. It was neither PHI nor financial. Data breaches like this happen all the time, and in much more serious contexts. Shall we break up every insurance company and dentist’s office that has a laptop stolen?

    Since none of these companies are actually acting in a monopolistic fashion or colluding to restrict competition, that’s a non-starter.

    “Make the government force this company I don’t like to do what I want” is not a refrain I expected to hear from conservatives who claim to believe in private property and individual liberty, but it’s clear that this isn’t about anything like principles; it’s soi-disant conservatives outing themselves as stealth members of the Free Shit Army throwing tantrums like a toddler because their favorite social media sites are taking their lollipop away.

  7. I remember when AOL was HUGEly popular. I remember when IBM dominated the typewriter business. I remember when AT&T dominated the corded phone. I understand that at one time Ford motor company made just about every car in North America. Anyone remember all those fine film cameras? And on and on.

  8. Facebook says hackers saw personal info of 14 million users, right…here is what I think; facebook paid people to pretend their were hackers, that way facebook was able to sell our personal information but could pretend hackers did it.
