There are conflicting opinions on other sites as to how “humanitarian” this group really was, and how much of a propaganda arm for Islamists. Reference is made to fake photos showing the same young “survivor”. But if Israel thought it okay to bring them out, I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt.

But the ability of Israel to extract them out of Syria in the hundreds suggests there is a sophisticated network of Israeli intelligence inside Syria now that was able to coordinate the removal of that many with families in tow.
