Sunny Ways

All the villages in all the world are looking for their idiots.

Robert Lighthizer, the U.S. Trade Representative, is known to be angry at Canada for failing to present creative proposals, not backing him on pushing for higher wages in Mexico and broadly challenging the States at the World Trade Organization, the Johns Hopkins professor said.

This from the fools that started NAFTA talks with a social justice warrior plank. The mind boggles. How does one advocate for workers rights, biological equality in the US and take a hard pass on “a living wage” in Mexico?

  1. PM V.I. Dressup and tubby tunes Christia lecturing Lighthizer would be enough to burn anyone’s cock. The nation’s Prime Village Idiot might be as smart as a fence post and she’s an arrogant twat.

    1. Let’s ignore the American tariffs on agriculture and their hundreds of billions worth of subsidies.

      1. Let’s not poke the bear. Our trade surplus with them is shrinking alarmingly every year. A bad deal is better than no deal. If PM Adulterer had not pushed certain things and realized that administrations change . . . but when you’re sinking in the polls look for the average stupid Canadian to support you against the big bad bear so you can get re-elected.

  2. But what about common treatment of the transgender and global warming issues. Important issues to the Kokanee Groper. Puke!

    1. Yes, the Americans must accept the Marxist identity politics and Globalist ideology of the Turdo Party… the Post National State won’t accept anything less… I guess electing imbeciles, fools, anti Canadians and foreign funded Globalists was a bad idea.

  3. Spending 1% of GDP on your military is not earning you any brownie points from President Donald Trump either. Add in Prime Minister Grab-Ass’s post G7 press conference, and I think you are going to find an unfriendly Southern Neighbor.

    1. Nato agreed in 2014 to ramp up to 2% by 2024.. Anything else is just Trump making up his own rules that nobody cares about. He’s in his own little world.

      1. PM Grope has no intention of increasing military spending unless its to put in a Pride Battalion or Pussy-hat Brigade Group. Canada the post nation state forfeits its sovereignty because it cannot defend it self.

        1. Well … Obama spent HIS military dollars on the “greening” of our navy … I am certain PM Sockeye.

      2. How much have we “ramped” up in the first four years of that ten year period? If P.M. Castreau gets re-elected in 2019 our economy will be so contracted and our dollar so devalued that in 2023 we’ll be able to order a new second hand Airbus passenger jet for the air force’s transport fleet (and fit it out for transporting the P.M. and his pals on costumed adventures overseas) for a price that will fulfill the commitment to be spending 2% of GDP.

      3. alla ass, say what. they should have already been at 2% GDP, or are you too stupid to understand that????

      4. “Nato agreed in 2014 to ramp up to 2% by 2024″…they agreed to “try” to

In fact, for the majority of the 29 countries in the alliance, the 2 percent of GDP benchmark is just a “guideline,” not a mandate.

When NATO leaders originally committed in 2006 to try to spend that much on their own defense, a NATO spokesman made it clear that “this is not a hard commitment that they will do it. … But it is a commitment to work towards it.” And a 2014 press release about the Wales summit said that countries again agreed to either “aim to continue” spending that amount or “aim to move towards the 2% guideline within a decade.”

As of 2018, only four members of the alliance “have either national laws or political agreements which call for at least 2% of GDP to be spent on defence annually,” according to NATO. They are Latvia, Poland, Lithuania and Romania.

      5. NATO has been agreeing for 20 years. Guess what, new Sheriff in town.
Trump came in because US tax donkey does care, and guess what? Trump is Mr. Nice Guy. You are not going to like what comes after.

  4. What many Canadians seem to think is that the Americans have to trade with us. The light bulb moment will be when they realize the Americans do not. It is the same thought process which mandates that Canada ‘has’ to accept immigrants. No we don’t. It comes down to choices and Canada is not very good at making them.

    1. Oh yes they do have to trade with us because if they didn’t they wouldn’t. And that’s not even getting into the oil they are buying.

Also yes Canada has to accept immigrants. All countries do if they want to be rich and prosperous.

      1. So by that logic, we are making all those other countries poorer. Gee, that’s a great fix. Ladies and Gentlemen, Unme – The World’s Poor-Phucker.

        1. That’s the problem with people like Numbnuts who don’t believe in borders or nations, they think that all the shit overpopulation brings like pollution, garbage, crime, disease, biodiversity and habitat loss doesn’t exist.

      2. The US buys our oil at a discount as we cannot ship to Asia. They then sell their oil to Asia at full price. As Texas says to BC, “Thank you”.

      3. They don’t have to trade with us. They will trade with us so long as they perceive it to be worth it to them. If it seems otherwise to them, right or wrong they will act accordingly. That’s what’s happening now. And on our side, what’s happening is stupid kids in charge and the stupid who voted for them think we should take umbrage and teach them that we are nice and polite (we’re doing that by slagging President Trump) but we won’t be pushed around (we’re doing that part by provoking the U.S.A. to push us around.)

    2. So this is logic that justifies idiotic and illogical behavior down south that we should just agree to? I think not.

      1. Thinking long-term is something people who cut off their nose to spite their face have no concept of and PM Kuntcicle is only thinking about getting re-elected . . . and sucking off Gerald I’m The Real Kunticle Butts.

      2. Yes little Chihuahua biting a Rototiller is not a good idea even if he pissed in your kibble.

  5. How does one advocate for workers rights, biological equality in the US and take a hard pass on “a living wage” in Mexico?

Because deep down these hardcore socialist idiots (both in Canada and Mexico) understand that minimum wage actually harms those it’s supposed to help (as well as harming those who barely make above the new minimum wage and see none of the benefits). They only push it in their home country as a way of making perpetual voters out of those close to minimum wage (and those who make more desperate to feel good about helping).

    Overseas, the calculus changes.

    1. While their lying rhetoric says they support ‘workers’, they actually do the opposite. If you could, ask the Russian railway workers in the early 1920s of how their support was rewarded.

  6. Canadians, having blown their primary trading partner status are now like dogs waiting for scraps to fall. I’m just wondering what it must feel like having to watch. The deals are going to be so lucrative, so full of money and potential prosperity. Canadians will sit there thinking this could have been ours and that could have been ours, all the while looking up to the table at Mexico; Mexico looking down, grinning and eating, eating and grinning. No scraps from there. And from Trump? Well, Trudeau bit that hand so… we’ll see. Not much I’m sure.

  7. A deal with Trudeau? No. Walk away. Come back when Justin is in prison or exile, Chrystia is in Siberia, and Doug Ford is in 24 Sussex.

  8. We do not need to look for our village idiots as they are our current government. One screw up after another, where ever they tread.

    1. Agreed, Ken (Kulak),

And when it comes down to the final talks, our “negotiators” will be eaten for lunch by President Trump et al and then Justine will use the damage, aided by the far-left media, to rally the lemmings in the Canadian electorate to return the Libs to power.

Of course, the damage will be complete but as long as Justine is in 24 Sussex, all will be well, according to the MSM.

      Still missing PM Harper.

  9. “not backing him on pushing for higher wages in Mexico”

That this is even mentioned shows that there is no good reason to negotiate with this regime. It is not the government’s job to govern wages.

  10. So PM Trudeau phoned former PM Harper after his Whitehouse visit and asked if he could help on the Trade File. The column just ended with this statement, the phone call did not end with any Offer of cooperation. I can only suspect former PM Harper made some suggestions, such as drop this, this and this and we can get something done. And PM Trudeau would say no. We are sticking with gender, climate and indigenous issues. This is not the time or place to bring these issues up. Not with this no nonsense US admin.

  11. The only problem was Turdo was stuck too far into Hillary’s butt….and she is dead, or not… Mexico is promising to police the Mexican Southern Border (We have been paying for that function for years, but they just ignored all the UN NGO’s ) it is really back to the past…

I think Harper Knows how to solve the Canadian (Turdo’s) Problem…He was invited to an WH meeting, unlike Freeland’s rush to the mental dwarf from Chattanooga Cho-Cho land…Friends are not Friends when patriotism is involved ,or not..

Trump has said Canada has to wait until after the Mid-Terms..relax
    JMHO

  12. The Canadian criticism of Quebec is Strange… They stood up and resisted the rush to a Multi-Culturist society… Where was the Rest of Canada…in a crack house.. If it wasn’t for Quebec you would have had zero resistance…..

The Indian reconciliation nonsense didn’t have an inquiry for the opinion of the REST of Canada . Time to Wake up and get involved before you are run over by some ridicules white guilt….

  13. Just wanted to let you all know, that the position of us inflexible conservatives, is that we are done voting for your candidates, and never getting so much as a crumb in return.

There shall be no more representation, without taxation.

I have been told for so long, that I have to support X, so the Y won’t get elected. That things will be better under X and worse under Y.

Your strategy has been playing out through Trudeau 1. Clark. Turner. Mulroney. Campbell. Martin. Chretien. Trudeau 2… Things have never gotten better. At best there have been plateaus on the way down.

Your strategy is a slow path down the drain. The only thing Rae or Notely or Trudeau changes is the speed.

  14. Idiots? No shortage on the world stage: turdo la doo, Trump, May, Macron, Merkel….the list is endless. And in opposition the cold little hearts and shrewd brains of Putin and Xi Jinping.

  15. If you gathered all the idiots in all the villages in all the lands, Justin Trudeau would still stand out amongst all those idiots as being the unwaveringly stubborn and idiotic of them all.

    1. Yes, Trump can only be President for two or four more years. Either way we’ll be missing our trade with the U.S.A. before he’s gone and suffering for too long after he’s gone before we get it back.

  16. Trump is likely to be President for another six and a half years. NAFTA is over already; the U.S. is negotiating a bilateral deal with Mexico and will negotiate a separate bilateral deal with Canada.

Even the readers of this forum mostly don’t realize how badly Justin has screwed up.

    1. Yes, there were several instances where Trudeau’s policy on NAFTA was just plain tone deaf; so much so that it must raise questions about Butt’s and the Liberals’ motives.

      1. Trump – Only bi-party deals. Trudeau – Tri-party NAFTA.
      2. Trudeau – improve NAFTA with SJW clauses – WTF !!!!??
      3. Trump – no using deals for third-party access to US market. Trudeau – third party access (China steel, EU)
      4. Trump – sunset clause. Trudeau – no sunset clause.
      5. Trudeau – insult Trump.

And that’s even before they start discussing specific issues. And who’s that short, fat woman who appears to be running the show?

  17. Its interesting that some people still believe the Turdo Party ever wanted NAFTA negotiations to succeed in the first place… hint… they didn’t and they don’t. When Peeairs imbecilic son is re-elected in 2019 by the unsophisticated moronic electorate of the Trudopian Empire the one positive outcome will be represented in the flatulent and flaccid end to the warped undemocratic Trudopian cult. It”s always more likely that cultists commit suicide rather than entertaining the thought of leaving the cult. The Trudopian cult is certainly no less different than any other cult.

  18. Drain the swamp no bird will live there no animal will go there its just got crocs and snakes democratic crocs and snakes

  19. The airhead in Ottawa is like a village idiot. He keeps repeating the same damn thing, what ever it is that someone asks.

It is of course because there is no neuron in his head that has an original idea.

What lines he has learned, that is what comes out.

The very bad part is that there are those that he talks cool.

What the hell can you do?
