  10. This is quite outrageous. Now private organizations cannot be against unrestricted abortion. Of course this policy will not cause any religious groups to alter their views. The point is to penalize them for freedom of thought. This place begins to feel like the Soviet Union. I am appalled. And I wonder what exactly might be entailed in “demontrating” support for abortion.

    They can be against it. But they have to pretend to be for it. To the real thinkers guiding the “progressive” movement this is better than actually persuading people to believe in an idea, because they realize you can’t convert everyone. But if you can get them to pretend, to profess ideas they actually don’t believe, you degrade and demoralize them, they are less likely to oppose state’s imposition of more outrageous, more ridiculous, and more obviously impossible measures necessary to create the socialist utopia.

    New firearms legislation coming after the Dec.25th/ Justin’s Birthday break. The Liberals want to make the Country safer,so they are going to reclassify several categories of firearms,especially those that make a loud noise when fired.

  24. Well, that is a pretty dicey claim. I have to disagree about Trudeau being good for Canada’s image. I think that is pretty much media spin, but lots of naive people will believe it. I was just in the States, and the Americans I encountered have pretty much figured out “what’s what” with Trudeau. Any one who is at all astute realizes he is a front man and that’s it.

    The Trudeau government used a plane the government isn’t buying (Super Hornets) in an attempt to promote the plane the government is buying (leftover Australian F-18s).
    While both planes are based on the F-18 design, the Super Hornets are more modern and more advanced, having been upgraded heavily by Boeing.
    But since the Trudeau government ceded our defence policy to Bombardier’s corporate interests, they decided not to get the Boeing-made plane, and are instead buying leftover Australian F-18s that will require lots of upgrade spending and are almost as old as the planes they are replacing.
