Thursday: Winnipeg beats Montreal. The Bombers are on a tear and seem to have a real focus. Combine that with excellent coaching and you have the team to watch in the latter half of the season.
Friday: Saskatchewan wins in Edmonton. Kind of a flyer, but the injuries in Edmonton are a lot to overcome and the Riders are starting to look like a team.
Saturday: BC goes down in Ottawa. A long trip, Hull, an early game. Boys will be boys.
Saturday: Toronto might win in Calgary. I don’t think the Argos have the team to beat Calgary, but reports about an injury to Bo Levi Mitchell’s shoulder could change that.
Winnipeg over Montreal
Edmonton over Saskabush
B.C. over Ottawa
Calgary over Toronto, IF B-LM plays,if not, Ray could commandeer a win.
Mercifuly, Hamilton gets a bye.
“Diverthity is our strength”, or some such horseshit. Bombers over Als… Riders over Esks… Eastern Riders over the Orange’s… Stamps over the Argos as long as Bo Levi plays, if not then Ricky Ray and the boatmen…. and those working hard to join the middow clath.
No NFL team will touch Kappernick because the fan base will erupt. He may not be a top 30 starter but be is as good as most of the next 30 backups.
David Price is experiencing the the same thing in Boston. He took on an icon in Dennis Eckersley and now is getting it from the fans. He may never play another game for the Bosox. There are consequences. m
I will agree with your picks, except the Stamps for the win. Even if BL-M doesn’t play, our back up quarterback looks solid.
One thing though, the Riders have fooled me too many times this year. But I will be pulling for them to beat the Esks.
Go Stamps Go!!
These players who want to politicize the NFL are destroying it … and their future salaries
Why do I have to have “Diversity is Strength” shoved into my viewing face when watching a CFL game? Why do we have to politicise everything these days? Oh and the incessant commercial breaks during a CFL TSN telecast is spoiling it for me. Not just the breaks but the same commercial shown over and over and over and over……again! Sometimes shown twice during the same break…Geesh!
Yeah, those T-shirts can go to the trash bin.
The CFL is a low budget league. The aforementioned Colin Kaepernick probably earned more, with his $8 million /year salary, then the entire player budget for a CFL team.
Look at the crowds, looks like 15,000 on many nights in TO or B.C.
So advertisers know there isn’t much sense wasting huge amounts of money on creative new commercials for the same tiny audience, thus we get the same f***ing commercials repeated to the point it could be considered torture.
Thank god for the “MUTE” button, which I use without fail for every commercial during a CFL game.
Notice that some games seem to be primarily sponsored by the Government of Canada, through it’s various agencies? Sometimes I wonder if the CFL isn’t just another Canadian boondoggle, quietly supported by the taxpayer.
Don’t suggest it. Back in the PET days the cfl was going through one of their ‘crisis ‘ and the weasel Marc Lalonde suggested a government bailout. It didn’t happen but government advertising sure looks suspicious.
A typical cfl fan is in his 50’s. The future looks bleak.
My giveadamometer is broke.
I’m reveling in Edomonton’s thumping Lance – but yur’re dead wrong about a Calgary loss – talk to ya tomorrom PM
