  1. Thanks Lance! Keep picking anyone but the Lions all the way to the Grey Cup my friend.

  2. A Calgary radio station I listen to has been all over a story about the saskabushers spying on their practices – stealing the playbook if you will. They interviewed a coach who said his brother-in-law is a coach in SK and then suggested that the teams had a number of players who had played on both teams.
    What secrets remain?

  3. It’s called stirring the pot.
A lively topic on Sask radio sports talk shows….. with different villains, naturally.
Anything to garner fan interest and rivalry is OK.

  4. Can Ottawa get on track? Yes I think so.
    Ottawa beats Montreal
    Edmonton slaughters Hamilton
BC takes Winnipeg in a tight one
Calgary over the Riders. Calgary’s D line needs help, but Sask’s QB isn’t the man for the job.
    Toronto beats Ottawa easily.
Can I bat .500? Maybe, but I can’t be much worse than Lance (or can I?)
    Cheers

  5. The intrigue spreads. Now Hamilton is complaining of infiltration. I think it’s the Russians.
Since most coaches have worked for every team in the league at one time as a player or coach what secrets are there?

  6. Seeing as I missed this thread yesterday, though I would have picked Ottawa over Montreal anyway:
    Edmonchuck over Hamilton
    B.C over Winnipeg
Calgary over the Bush by 14
Toronto should beat a fatigued Ottawa handily.
Last week,50/50. The Sylvia Browne memorial award slips further away……………

  7. Lance,
You realize you’re 0-5 on picking the winner whenever the Lions play, right? And you have predicted the team with the best 1-2 punch at QB, the best receiving corps, and easily the best defensive player going 1-4 to start the season…. Who do you think we are, the Riders?
    Still beaming from last night….
    James in BC.
