So the CBC is censoring the narrative – tell people with a brain something they didn’t know !

It was really a non-story to begin with.

It’s hard to know whether to be more disgusted with the CBC or Morneau. Perhaps we’ll just call it a tie.

CBC is called “Government News” for a reason. CBC is so much quicker and easier to say, but more people need to start calling it the “Government News Chanel” more often and to more people.

No, it’s not “Government News”, it’s “liberal news”.

Watching the CBC is like drinking the cool-aid in Jonestown.

The second headline is actually more precise.

I don’t think so. The story says: After dinner, the Quebec couple stunned the young Torontonian by pointing out the sleeping arrangements: a shared room with Elise.
“As a boy from Toronto, that wasn’t what parents said to you,” Morneau said. “They would send the boy that way and the girl that way.”
Morneau, who is now 53, described the experience as “terrifying.”
“I woke up the next morning worried how are they going to look at me,” he said. “Are they going to look whether I’m well-rested or whether I look really tired?”
The joke was about sleeping with the Quebec politician’s daughter in her parents’ home. It had less to do with “dating history” than with where and whether he slept with one particular person.
The whole point of SDA noting that the CBC had two accounts of the story is that whenever anything slips through as potentially embarrassing the Liberals it gets quickly spackled over. If it were about the Conservatives, the CBC would have made up the story and used as much hyperbole as possible to satiate the needs of its avid left-wing constituents.

By telling this tale, Morneau is guilty of #SlutShaming and #RapeCulture, and #Mysogynist.
However, by not having sex with the girl, he is also likely guilty of being #transphobic, #homophobic, and #BodyShaming.
If he had refused this local custom of sharing a room he would have been #Racist and #AntiQuebec.
I think that’s how this works.
