  7. I agree to a point. I was disappointed in the campaign, and the washed out conservative policies. But the well oiled and financed ‘Hate Harper’ campaign by enviro nuts, unions and the media has to be recognised. American conservatives voters need to be aware.

  8. I think Conservatives lost because the left creative a false narrative — abetted by the media — and Canadians went for it. Conservatives were portrayed as anti-Muslim, for picking up on issues like the niqab at Citizenship ceremonies, anti-science (no evidence here, just a lot of complaining from the disloyal public servants who were “muzzled” for a good reason), and corrupt (only evidence of any wrong doing here was Duffy, but they played it to the hilt). Quite frankly, I am pretty sure that the globalists went after Harper and likely supported some of the anti-Harper groups and messaging — such as that hit piece in the New York Time (who paid for that?? Not the Times I can assure you.) Trudeau was the globalists’ choice and his candidacy (and now his tenure) are carefully protected from criticism as the dismantling of our nation is underway,and Agenda 2030 moved forward. Trudeau gets his marching orders from somewhere else — and cannot even commit to a pipeline if it is deemed safe by criteria set by his own government. Trudeau is a puppet. A good lesson for Canadians is “Be careful what you wish for.”

    What will Canada look like once the US and Mexico have climbed aboard the TPP and we haven’t?

  15. All true, however, there was one missing aspect to the PMSH campaign.
    He didn’t fight back, at all.
    Conservatives, ALL OVER, need to learn from Donald Trump, that its OKAY to fight back, and, admired for doing so!
    PMSH played the campaign like a church rector. Nice and good on a personal level, but on a political level, a death sentence.

  17. The Lieberals won because they mobilized a mindless “HateHarper” campaign in social media early in the game. It fed on itself and motivated enough young disillusioned voters who had never voted before to go vote for their pop-star ‘hero’. The leftist media manipulated the popularity contest very effectively. It was never about selecting the person best qualified for the job, it was more like picking a Homecoming Queen.

Back when Trudeau was in power and arrogantly ruling Canada and when the CBC actually had a clever comedy called the Royal Canadian Airfarce, The Airfarcers did a skit on Trudeau in which he was asked about unemployment and the reply was “Unemployment, what unemployment? I have done a survey amongst my friends and none of them are unemployed.”
    What a pity there are none of them left to critique his son. Has anybody else noticed that Trudeau 2 has a big nose and it is getting bigger?

  24. I believe they do not want to stir the pot. They want Canadians to think that everything is just ticking along (so what if Libs are undoing some important pieces of legislation — such as union transparency. I watched P&P for the first time since the election. They seem much more analytical and issues oriented. I think they want to avoid bringing in guests who might criticize the government. News will be sanitized for some time, I fear.

  26. DanBC @ 1:57, you are right, as is the American Thinker article and as are all the comments to my link. The sad part is the complete Conservative election campaign was totally mismanaged from the getgo and worthy of catching ZZZZZS all along. It was so exciting I could hardly stay awake.
    Most of the comments to my Tip have a common denominator, that being the all out media campaign to have Harper lose the election and Trudeau win.
    Hopefully the Liberal MSM propagandists all lose their jobs and their papers go broke.

  29. It’s been decades since crime in Canada has been identified on the basis of race. The press dances around obfuscating and confounding in an effort not to offend – or disclose. The Somali community in Edmonton wages war on each other but you’d never know it listening to the news….or the police for that matter.
    Occasionally the Somali sisters protest as their sons, brothers, husbands etc are getting killed and the crime is seldom solved. Nobody talks. Including the press and police.
    Sooo where do we go from here?

    –The Pentagon is ordering the top brass to incorporate climate change into virtually everything they do, from testing weapons to training troops to war planning to joint exercises with allies.
    A new directive’s theme: The U.S. Armed Forces must show “resilience” and beat back the threat based on “actionable science.”
    It says the military will not be able to maintain effectiveness unless the directive is followed. It orders the establishment of a new layer of bureaucracy — a wide array of “climate change boards, councils and working groups” to infuse climate change into “programs, plans and policies.”–

  32. Hiding these crimes so a disservice to the Black community. It is like refusing to name an evil in their midst. If the perpetrators were acknowledged, the rest could breathe easier and maybe have a chance at bettering their lives. PC destroys lives.
