  1. Earth to PMSH.
Can you at least show that you WANT to be PM again? Or is it take it or leave it/
Isn’t it time to fight back? Low key Steve isn’t cutting it, people are buying Tommy Trotsky’s lies and smooth talk, and look forward to all his free stuff, and promises of rainbows and unicorns.
Yes, Canadians really ARE that stupid, and plentiful.
Where can I hide my investments from the Dips?

  2. Let us analyze this.
According to the Great Whore, while not being a religionist this seem to be an appropriate definition, these are the statistics about the great invasion of the Asian and African hordes.
    They show top ten.
The top five are: Syria 50%, Afghanistan 13%, Eritrea 8%, Nigeria 4%, Somalia 3%…….
There are 381,412 arrivals by sea in 2015.
There are 2850 dead or missing in 2015.
81% of arrivals are from top 10 refugee producing countries.
All of these arrived by sea:
    Malta 94
    Spain 1,953
    Italy 121,000
    Greece 258,635
This is the most interesting statistic that most here understood from the beginning, though Canadian media cartel will not report because it’s the women and children.
72% of all arrivals are men, 15% are children and 13% are women.
There is a whole lot more right here:

  3. Looks like normal everyday German tv, the most boring in the world. Only so many umpahs one can take in a lifetime.
Though Oktoberfest starts in less than three weeks

  4. Cal2: There is one alpine tune that rises above all!! From the movie ”Return of the Pink Panther,” Summer in Gstaad.” by Henri Mancini!! Gstaad is a resort in Switzerland, however I couldn’t find German blond haired-blue eyed girls with healthy cleavage!!

  5. Personally, I enjoyed the music. It reminded me of visits to my grandparents when I was a youngster. They had a lot of the German music on 78s. They also had a bunch of Cole Porter, Benny Goodman, George Gershwin, opera, etc. They influenced me as to what I appreciate in music today. For you youngsters, 78s are a flat, vinyl disc that uses a needle to pick up sound: it turns at 78 revolutions per minute. Kind of like the “vinyl” that is the latest craze at Barnes & Noble. And for which you will pay big bucks. Did I miss the memo that says all comments must be off topic?

  6. ” Outgoing MPs can expect financial windfall, even if they plan their exit ”
    http://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/canada-election-2015-severance-package-1.3211474
Obviously there will be some MPs retiring or defeated.
And, right or wrong, they will be collecting a pension and severance.
The CBC has put up pictures of four of them.
Guess how many are Conservatives ?
Guess how many retiring Libs are mentioned in the article?
Guess how many dippers are mentioned?
Apparently, only Conservative MPs are retiring and taking advantage of their golden parachutes.

  7. Shawn, that guy has clearly been paid to read from a script he didn’t write. It just doesn’t ring true. Dishonest propaganda like that only serves to discredit those who oppose the demographic invasion of the West for very real reasons. We don’t need fake ones.
It’s a pretty cynical effort by the producer of that video.

  8. Michael Coren redefines Christianity in his own new image.
Used to enjoy Michael Coren, but he’s flipped yet again. I think it’s all about the money since his position as a ‘conservative commentator’ on the Sun News Network came to an end. He sees more lolly in promoting the ‘progressive agenda’ since he seems to believe it’s in the ascendency.
    Sorry, it’s in the Torstar.

  10. If you post comments on CBC.Ca, try this simple trick. Write a comment, then after a while, sign out of your account. Then go back to the story and try to find your comment. Even if you set the browser to ”Newest” you’ll have to go right through all of the comments to find yours, unless of course you’re pro-Liberal or pro–NDP and you receive tons of ”likes.” Otherwise, nobody gets to see your comments, they’re right at the bottom of the list. Very convenient at election time!!
On that same topic, I sent a birthday card and $40.00 cheque to a relative in Calgary via Canada Post on the 25th of August, 2015. Two weeks later she doesn’t have it. How convenient for a labour union to raise blood pressures at election time by holding back on delivery times, especially for a greeting card. Citizens beware, the unions have already made it clear they are ”Harper haters.”

  11. Interesting, but it is twitter.
Even if true, in Canada the media will run with ‘it doesn’t matter, there is still a ‘little dead “Alan” on the beach’ and we must do more.
Maybe Mulcair and the young Trudeau have it right, pull all our troops out of there.
We can keep them on our borders. Make the world a big game of ‘Risk’.
And if I remember correctly, the other players did not get to place their blocks in your country, that would be foolish.

  12. “Apparently, only Conservative MPs are retiring and taking advantage of their golden parachutes.”
That would be because the CPC has been the Canadian government since 2006 so, of course, the CPC has more continuous sitting MPs than either the Liberals,(who got their asses kicked by the NDP last election) or the NDP (who kicked the Liberal’s asses last election).
Both the Liberals and the NDP have had quite a few seat turn-overs to-and-fro since 2006 is what I’m getting at.(the CPC, not so much such that their MPs qualify for retirement…-2 terms)
It’s like the CBC announcing that the North Pole is melting in the summer, because duh, it’s summer and winter/spring/fall are taking a pass at the melting ice thing.
And anyone who says they shouldn’t retire, reference Senator John McCain (R) Arizona and ask them how many decades they would like those Conservative MPs occupying those seats in Parliament.

  13. I think Michael Coren is showing his true colours. When he wrote columns for the Toronto Sun, I often thought he had no respect for free market capitalism and yet he held to several “social conservative” positions dictated by his religious beliefs. In other words, he didn’t think too highly of freedom in economic or personal matters. Then somehow he became a “conservative” voice at Sun News Network (RIP). Not so long ago he wrote a book called “Why Catholics are Right”, then recently he switched to Anglicanism. Who knows what he’ll be next week.

  14. Coren grew up a Jew in England. His father was a taxi driver.
Coren converted to Catholicism a few bitty years ago.
I think he’s OK considering he’s an English Jew-Catholic, all of which were overlapping socialist subsets when I was growing up.
Everything considered, Michael got the good looks in his family and they’ll take him an extra mile. 🙂

  15. Hey CPC brain trust/short pants peeps ~ When are you going to give me and many others a reason to vote “for” you? Are you done playing rope a dope and ready to fight yet? Or is Coyne right and you are just past your expiration date?
If you aren’t willing to fight back then don’t expect us too. Just sayin!

  16. The CBC is shamelessly running full tilt against the Conservatives and Harper in particular, this is their mission, have the public think only Conservatives get paid pensions. Our only hope is people are onto them and have more intellect than they’re taking us for, which is idiots.S

  17. @Glenn
After ten years of electioneering conservatives continue to wait for a Conservative government lowering its size , lowering taxation, eliminating CBC etc.
Usually one of the first priorities in political strategy is to demoralize the opponent’s base. For this task CPC doesn’t need an opposition, it has “know-it-all” , in love with themselves staffers in PM office. They are interested only to defend their place in Ottawa and not taking any risk in standing for what’s right for the country.
Saying above, I still hope for a minority Conservative government.

  19. Michael Coren has always been a flawed thinker. He can’t separate religion and state.
About 30 years ago he wrote for Frank magazine. During the Mulroney years. He was a brilliant satarist. Absolutely hilarious.

  20. Didn’t PMSH warn that doing nothing against ISIS would result in what we are seeing now? And that opposition parties fought against doing something back then?

  21. I call BS on the “little baloney” call
Baloney Meter: Did Trudeau unfairly smear small business owners as tax dodgers?
    http://www.nationalnewswatch.com/2015/09/10/baloney-meter-did-trudeau-unfairly-smear-small-business-owners-as-tax-dodgers/#.VfHO-vaFOM8
“From 2001 to 2011, that study found that fewer than five per cent of Canadian taxpayers in the bottom half of the income scale owned at least 10 per cent of the shares in at least one Canadian-controlled private corporation (CCPC). By contrast, as much as 80 per cent of taxpayers in the top 0.01 per cent of income earners were CCPC owners.”
So what? What specious tripe. I see: fewer than five per cent of Canadian taxpayers in the bottom half of the income scale had paid off mortgages. By contrast as much as 80% of taxpayers in the top 0.01 per cent in income owners had no house mortgages. So now we should start nailing people without mortgages because they’re “rich” or “circumventing the rules?” Oops, was that my out loud voice?
Just how low will the clods have to set the tax bar to make the “rich” pay more (and more and more). Let’s go back to the good old days of Chretien where earned income above $60,000/yr (about $90,000 today) attracted 54% income tax.
If the NDP get in, especially with their fellow travelers in minority, we will undoubtably see a return to that level of taxation. The Grit plan would push top marginal rates, albeit at an equally sinful income of over $200,000 to that same 54%, but claw backs would push the effective tax rate as high as 58% (in NB); and they’re progressive pikers compared to the Dippers. Meanwhile the poor get poorer:
“These tax packages are mainly about redistribution, not growth. Although marginal tax rates will fall for those with modest incomes, they will rise for many middle-income child-bearing families with more than $45,000 in income” (aka Mulcair’s “15% of the richest Canadians”). The “rich” will also be able to thank Mr Mulcair for his day care plan.
    http://business.financialpost.com/fp-comment/jack-m-mintz-trudeaus-tax-plan-a-mixed-bag-that-does-nothing-for-growth
Let’s throw in a poverty inducing federal carbon tax, and for good measure, another job killing “pension plan for Canadians.”
Why is it OK to screw the poor to get at the rich? Answer: it’s not about justice, or fairness, it’s about revenues and government power. When they’re done screwing us over by squeezing as much as possible out of the tax wallet of rich and poor alike, then they’ll simply borrow more & more for their failed programs until they tap that out, aka the California plan. Then we’ll get higher unemployment, inflation & higher interest rates, plus a lower currency, all wrapped up into one progressive decline.
Is that “what Canadians want?” Notwithstanding most of the contributors to this site, we need to wake us to what the NDP has in store for us, plainly exhibited in the readily available platform.

  24. Poor old media party are getting a little testy about getting heckled at events. Funny, these same turds have no problem shouting questions at people coming and going from their jobs or whatever do they? FHITP is “offensive” because they’re just doing their jobs or whatever but they’ll gladly shove a camera in your face at your workplace and trespass while demanding an answer to some ridiculous question won’t they? Wake up media. It’s mutual. We’re not sitting around and taking it anymore.
