1. Big wakeup call for the entire civilized world. Stupidity reigns supreme. Those predisposed to signalling their personal sanctimony, while believing they’re immune to any negative consequences will remain clueless as to why everything around them is crumbling and becoming desperate and hostile. The collective free spirit will soon be upstaged by a more obtrusive and single-minded tenor. The bubble is about ready to burst IMHO.

We can stop this threat tomorrow with immigration reforms aimed at ensuring the people who come here are A) productive B) will compliment our social order and rule of law – Citizenship should be returned to its status as something of great value to which immigrants must make a total commitment. Immigrants must be willing to adapt to enjoy the benefits of the host nation. Immigration must be mutually beneficial/respectful and compatible.
   Minister Kenny has done a good job but there is still much to do to ensure this nation gets immigrants which fill OUR nation’s needs and expectations – otherwise we become the world’s dumping ground for failed states and failed societies, soon the haven nations will become a mirror image of the tyranny, disorder and corruption of the failed states the immigration comes from.

5. frs, you’re absolutely right. This is another reason that Canadians have to wake up and return the country to a Conservative government in October. While I personally think the immigration system needs to be tightened up even more than Minister Kenny has done we know that under the leadership of both the Socialist oppositions the flood gates would be opened and we’d soon be in the position that most of Europe is going to be facing.

   It’s amazing how the Sheeple supported Obamba & the EU/UN Arab Spring, when everyone one else SCREAMED Power Vacuum & millions of Refugee’s!
   When will the western people wake up to the fact that these Liberal Progressive Elitists have been using Hegelian Dialectics on their own nations i.e. (Problem – Reaction – Solution).

    For the Useful Idiot Leftist, reasoning has nothing to do with the economy whatsoever; it has everything to do with “effecting change” i.e. tearing down the status quo.
    For the Limousine Liberals it means “Order out of Chaos”, creating a socially fractioned and poor citizenry that rely on Socialism for basic needs, thus creating the Socialist voting blocks and aggrieved victim groups.
    For the Ruling Elites, it’s the implementation of UN Agenda 21, moving the Third World masses into First World lands, and then controlled urbanization of the world’s citizens with their “Brand New Idea”.
    Have you ever wondered why they spend billions/ trillions of western tax dollars to bomb the crap out of desert sh*tholes yet leave our borders wide open to massively disgruntled “Refugees” of their creation?

    It should have been an issue a decade ago.
    IF it were an issue now, in this election, the CPC would lose the election because the immigrants hold the balance of too many seats in too many cities today.
    White legacy Canadians became a minority in Toronto back in (I think?) 2013.

13. The Economist had a piece about how great this immigration stuff is. You know – the usual blather about “young people”, “full of vitality”, “wanting to work”, and govt wanting to tax them to pay for the native aging population’s socialist benefits. Of course any sane person sees it for what it is – national suicide.

    It’s mix of economic migrants and refugees. The conflict in Syria and Iraq has exacerbated the normal flow of people attempting to get into Europe by any means.

In Australia, the same cry is heard from those Progressives (leftists) who say that increased immigration is needed to help pay for the retirement of the ageing existing population, and also to provide workers who will take care of these ageing people. It all sound good until you realise that each young immigrant has two parents, and four grandparents – and with ‘family reunion’ immigration programs these six extra people might be let into the country who will need someone to take care of them in their old age. So for each new immigrant, you can have up to six extra people who might be paid pensions and require medical services and places in retirement and nursing homes.
    And unfortunately, this type of thinking is from the less insane progressives: the ones who acknowledge there may be a problem in the future with the taxes of a limited number working people supporting an ever growing number of retired/disabled/welfare people. Too many other progressives don’t even acknowledge such a possible problem.
    My retired relative says that when she takes the local bus it is full of aged people who seem to have immigrated as part of this ‘family reunion’ plan, speak no English and thus seem to have never been Australian taxpayers during their working lives (certainly not in a mainstream career without English skills).

19. The dangers of increased presence of Muslims among the European populations is only beginning to be recognized. Any mention of it is stifled and denied by liberal/progressive politicians whose aim is to maintain power at any cost, and have a breathtakingly shallow grasp of the lessons of history and thus what awaits us in the future.

    Many people these day are hopeless oblivious to the fact that the kind and comfortable world they know hangs tenuously in the path of potential catastrphe. And I’m not referring to AGW or any other fraudulent construct invented by the left. Sharia is the end game. Demographics already dictate who will be in charge within surprisingly few years.
    One other footnote. I remember as a kid, wondering why it was Germans were so evil. Now I know it was complacency and lack of will to recognize and avoid the dangers of a deeply defective doctrine.
