  1. Well their going to have a hard time convincing Nancy Pelosi and Hillary Clinton of this.
So much for totalitarian femnazi’s marching the good march to the dictatorial woman world. It’ll never pass.

  2. It’s harder and harder these days to tell the batshit stories and real stories apart. Great parody!

  3. There’s stupid and then there’s Californian stupid which can never be taken lightly. No wonder Mexico is hesitant to take it back. What do you do with all the mental patients ?

  4. At some point we need to admit that humans are an evolutionary dead end. We need to off ourselves so that nature can try again – we are holding the cockroaches back from ruling the universe. Good luck to them . . . God speed.

  5. I think there might be a problem with this one. Other websites are showing AB–69 as a body camera bill. Can anyone find a secondary source to confirm the story from Townhall?

  6. Acceptable terms:
    Comrade
    Citizen
    Community organizer
    Aparatchik
    Arbiter
    Social Justice Warrior
    Activist
    Muslim of Peace
    LGBThing

  7. I’m with Chick, the only references I’m finding are for police body cameras as well.
    Marking this as fake.

  8. Fortunately my satire detector still works. It gets less effective every day though, not because satire stories are becoming more subtle, but because real life is getting more bats*** crazy.

  9. “At some point we need to admit that humans are an evolutionary dead end. We need to off ourselves”
I think all the evolutionists should go first since it’s their ‘theory’.
…If it frees up the log jam we’ll reliably conclude that correlation is not causation.

  10. This is a joke, right? Smacks of satire. But it’s not far from the way things are heading.

  11. Read the comments at the link, a number of them are calling it a leg-puller.
If correct, it is telling that something so absurd is completely believable given the situation in the U.S.

  12. @Rigina Chick: “Other websites are showing AB–69 as a body camera bill.” Very odd indeed. I used the internet search for California Assembly Bill #69 (AB-69). I got revision text which referred to certain exemptions related to Global Warming compliance.
No matter. Clearly this article is satire. The truth is that we have come to expect this kind of nonsense from the California legislature and this makes it seem entirely possible.

  13. Has to be a spoof. They are NOT that crazy in California, surely? Only the batshit crazy far lefties would rejoice at reading this, thinking it is for real.

  14. Haha!
    Brilliant satire.
Made me google right off the top, just to make sure, but you know what they say about today’s satire…it’s tomorrow’s public policy.
    LOL!

  15. California has become most rediculous state in the lower 48 run by the inmates well at least a blabbering nincompoop like Moonbeam Brown STATE WITH TWO OF THE ALL TIME STUPIDISTS COLLAGE MASCOTS EVER(Stanfords Tree,U.C. Santa Cruz Banna Slug)And of course Hollyweird and Disneyland small wonder our state goverments to rediclous

  16. I’m relieved to find out it’s probably satire. My detector doesn’t function as well as some of yours.
One notable omission: If such a bill were to pass, they’d have to replace “Governor” and “Assemblyman” (or whatever the local term is for a legislator). To that end, I would nominate “asshole”.

  17. I accepted it at face value. Nothing is too screwy when it comes from kalipornia.
    I denounce myself.

  18. Steamboat Jon and the others are correct.
2015-2016 session == AB 69 – Body-Worn Cameras for Peace Officers—The bill would establish best practices for the collection and storage of video footage from police body cameras.
    Me thinks Townhall got punked.
