Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

Brilliant.
AND so true.
Every CityTV report I have ever seen (EVERYWHERE!)
Yep. And that is why I don’t watch television. Because every time I do, I come away less informed and a tiny bit depressed.
Why should I give these socialist goofs a free shot at reprogramming my synapses? Make the b@st@rds WORK for it, that’s what I say.
We are sheep led by monkeys.
A very pert summary and well worth the viewing. Would that the real reports were as enjoyable…
Excellent presentation!
If all producers and makeup depts could be prevailed upon,
some cat whiskers would give the presenters some additional
maturity and gravitas in dealing with such a very important
and volatile subject.
A Twix? I believe she means about seven to ten Cosmopolitans and then end up half naked and passed out on Liverpool Street along with several hundred other Londoner females her age each Wednesday through Saturday.
[insert generic blog comment]
That lines up with my experience in [random, generic country] working for [random, generic organization]
where I was the victim of [random, generic outrage]. I wish I could say it was going to get better but that
would conflict with my overriding objective which is to make you sad, angry and in need of large quantities
of liquor, loaded up with federal and provincial taxes to fill the coffers of pale imitations of Justin Clouseau and his merry
band of rectal polyps, assorted retreads, hangers on, and unemployable activists.
I think I need a hug, along with my Oxford Commatose.
Ken;
So true. Sadly, the older I get the less I care. People, today, almost seem to revel in their ignorance. They are continually told, that no matter how ignorant, their opinion still has merit.
It is scary that at some point this will all end and from the turmoil will emerge a Glorious Leader who will make it all right.
America tried that and it hasn’t worked out so well!!!!
Sound so CBC except it doesn’t start with “critics say”
So true.
And so unexpected at 1:36 I laughed out loud.
Yup.
That has to be simply the best parody of every Biased Broadcasting Corporation news report ever.
And Doug @2:02 ….
Good to see someone else all too familiar with those streets.
