On Tuesday in the Legislature, the Saskatchewan Party government introduced the Saskatchewan Human Rights Code Amendment Act 2014. If passed, it will prohibit discrimination based on gender identity.
“There are a lot of trans and queer people in our province who have worked hard to see this happen,” said Craig Friesen, co-ordinator of the Pride Centre at the University of Saskatchewan Students’ Union. “If the proposed changes are passed, this will be a monumental day for all of us.” Rachel Loewen Walker, executive director of Avenue Community Centre, met with the Saskatchewan Human Rights Commission this past spring to push for the change, among others.

Women complain that first he’s allowed in there but now he has an erection in front of everyone. Well see that’s too bad also because he then says that not only is he female but he’s also a lesbian! So there you have it, all the perverts bases are covered thanks to Brad Wall and the “Conservatives” in Saskatchewan.

It’s one thing if adults who consider themselves transgender want to mutilate their own bodies or cross-dress or whatever floats their boat, but I would draw the line at filling prepubescent childrens’ heads with these notions. There is a case with which I am familiar through my wife that utterly horrifies me, and she’s quite unsettled by it as well, but for privacy reasons I can’t delve into the details. I’ll leave it as, it seems to me like a case of delusional parents turning their child’s brain into their personal social experiment. I dread what that child may endure when he/she reaches puberty; the parents are probably setting their child up for a lifetime of therapy.

Gender is a two way street. Just pick one and go. Any other variation on the traffic tends to disrupt the natural flow.
There is research out there which claims that a fair few teens go through a period of gender confusion. Apparently all the hormones are causing brain issues. Same research also says that – if left alone – the vast majority of these teens will figure out what they are and how to use their genitalia appropriately (or not, as the case may be).
My concern with all this ‘openness’ at the young teen level is that the confused aren’t allowed to find their own way, but will be besieged by ‘helpers’ that have an agenda. So a young teen, buffeted by hormones, who find themselves rushed to serious hormone reassignment and gender re-assignment surgery when they are not truly trans-gendered.
Of course, my scepiticism may be because we are hearing increasingly of reports of Gay groups trying to pan any psychological help which would transition a gay back to straight. There are also increasing reports of the trans-people who, having realized they made a horrendous mistake, are shunned, banished, and silenced by the multi-alphabet crowd.
