    The “famous picture” of Maggie “sans culottes” was not her proudest moment or Canada’s.
    As far as Junior kissing the bride, it does smack of droit du seignor and was kind of creepy.
    Junior is only being asked to explain what he would do in a very serious situation.
    Past time for him to start acting like a grownup, he decided to get into politics, run for PM.
    It’s a big job I don’t think he is man enough.
    If he can’t face questions maybe he should go back to his little snowboard.

  7. How does one honour their wedding vows? The example of his parents seems relevant. Pierre, while married had a string of rendez-vous with a string of famous women (as listed by Ezra on the show). The list was the source of the “he was kind of a slut” comment. Maggie was shown at the notorious Club 54 in an image that had to be blurred out (roughly at the same time as she was visiting the rolling stones). The blurring on the image was the reason for the panties comment.
    The timing on this is before I was aware of news, so I don’t know if all of this occurred while they were still married. If so, it shows how his parents honoured their wedding vows. It doesn’t show Justine’s views, but it shows the views of the two who were the greatest influences on him. Does character matter for a P.M.?

  8. Gotta agree with Agent Smith and Bart F. on this one. Although Trudeau is an imcompetent, immature little twit, Levant does not have to lower himself to the level of a typical leftie. He is far better than that. Remember the old adage about wrestling with a pig.
    However, that being said, Trudeau’s so-called “boycott” of SNN has nothing to do with his feelings being hurt by Levant. SNN has the odd habit of asking questions that require well thought-out answers whereas CBC, for example, lobs big fat softballs in order to avoid embarrassing their chosen one. If you had a pitcher firing 95 mph fastballs at you or some fat guy serving up beach balls in a slo-pitch game, who would you prefer?

  9. I agree with Ezra Levant on Trudeau senior. From friends and relatives who lived and worked in Ottawa during the early 80’s, Trudeau senior had a serious long term affair with another man, head of a high tech company in Kanata.
    The Liberals certainly do not mind taking “pot shots” at their opponents and the families. Why do the Conservatives have to be above “this sort of thing”?

  15. I cannot believe I am saying this, but I am with not with Ezra on this one. He should let the facts speak for themselves, and leave the familial slurs out of it. I know the slurs are easy, but we do not want JT to be elevated by his parentage – neither should he be denigrated by his parentage. Let him stand or fall by his own actions and words. Believe me, if you want to find fault with the boy (could not type man there) there is lots on the public record. I understand JT’s emotions regarding slurs directed at his parents as people. True, if Harper had done the same, CBC would be all over it, but Ezra need not give folks reason to dismiss him – he has too many insightful things to say to allow justification for marginalizing his observations.

Ezra may have been a little crude in his revelation, but he is bang on, and yes, it does need to be said, and repeatedly. The empty hair boy has not had a good up bringing and it is important that that be conveyed to the voting public. The ball is now in “empty hair’s” court, and he need to explain why he is different from his parents and why he will not make the same, or similar, mistakes.

  23. It’s understandable that Justin Trudeau won’t be inviting Ezra over for tea and crumpets, but for a would-be PM to boycott all questions from all reporters at a particular news network because you don’t like what one of many employees said is just passive-aggressive self-righteousness.
    I’ve seen all sorts of nasty innuendo in the op-ed commentary of various newspapers (and on Twitter) about Stephen Harper’s marriage, and his wife, but you don’t see him getting his panties in a knot and giving the silent treatment to all journalists from the same news organization who ask a serious question at a press conference.
    How convenient for the Liberals to have Justin Trudeau dodging important questions from the only network in Canada that doesn’t promote the progressive cause.
    When the CBC’s Christina Lawand (and her field producers) delivered a carefully constructed bald-assed lie on national TV about Stephen Harper’s position on Lebanon, she did so as a journalist presenting “facts” in a news report. Ezra, by point of comparison, was clearly editorializing; it was a one-man-show, an on-air opinion piece. Was it a bit over-the-top? Yeah, probably, but – again – if a politician refuses to talk to a major news outlet because one person at the organization said something displeasing to him, no politician would ever talk to any news outlet in this country.
    Trudeau can take punches from an out-of-shape chain-smoker, but his extenda-pout about Sun News is just a convenient excuse. Sun News is the only organization asking Trudeau tough, non-fawning questions of the sort Canadians need to hear – and see – the answers to before making their decisions on who to vote for.

The LIVs will miss the leftist attacks of this sort but pick up on conservatives doing it because the leftists will make sure they hear about it while at the same time ignoring their people doing the same.

If this spoiled little man-child can’t handle some name-calling from a mere reporter, how’s he going to hold up when it’s Vladimir Putin, or Benjamin Netanyahu, or the next President of the United States (if America ever elects a competent one again), tearing into him over a critical world matter?     This country is flirting with outright disaster if it elects this nincompoop to high office. If he wants to run for mayor somewhere, or even premier, at least his idiocy could be contained. But world politics is no place for dilettantes. As the United States should have painfully learned by 2012, but it seems they are too far gone to save themselves.

  41. Nothing beats the clip of the SNN reporter following Justine asking him questions while he was lost in the building trying to get away. At the end of the clip the reporter had to show the Spawn where the exit was. If he is too stupid to find a clearly marked exit under slight stress, how can he be expected to run Canada if we ever have a real crisis? The man-child is not ready to be an adult let alone PM.

However, if he wants to do that during the Leaders’ debate in the 2015 election, he has my blessing. Not to denigrate any of his fans, but I think of him as a giant amongst pygmies. One has to ponder how H.L. Mencken or Mark Twain would have commented on this.

    I don’t agree with attacking parents and families of politicians but Trudeau the Elder was a politician, a smart ass, used the “f” word in the HOC, did mocking pirouette behind the Queen,he obviously loved attention but treated the media like trash, they gave him a wide berth, in some ways more respect than he deserved. He did more damage to the country than any PM we’ve had, we’re still dealing with his handiwork to this day with the Charter and Multiculturalism. As for Margaret, she had her problems,as if it’s any wonder, perhaps the media were getting even with Pierre when they reported on her escapades, smoking pot etc.
    It’s not something being made up by Ezra, just recorded and photographed facts. Trudeau of Just Causes will have to stop whining and grow some thicker skin if he wants to be in the game of politics, it’s a dirty business at times.
