Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

Hebert from TorStar blames Harper for ‘missing the chance’
Of course..he should have been able to fix 100 years of mess with just one meeting.
Actually, as usual she says alot without saying anything.
http://www.thestar.com/news/canada/politics/article/1314150–hebert-harper-squanders-chance-to-set-new-course-with-first-nations
At the bottom of her article :
“Hebert’s column appears Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday”
My guess is that she wrote it yesterday.
If her hunger strike actually produces weight loss they can re-name the protest to Waddle No More.
Those of us who strongly disagree with Idle No More and deeply resent the two-tier government/law in Canada should have as our motto:
NO MORE.
PS — The captcha only seems to work if you first preview your comment. If you go straight to Submit, you get the message that your comment failed because “text entered was wrong,” when it clearly wasn’t entered wrong.
I wish the Idle No More movement would learn the real meaning of the word “idle”, and really be idle no more.
http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/idle
Photo Caption should read:
Three Won Ton soups, one green tea, and don`t forget my fortune cookie.
PS: Look at her carefully! Does she look native?? She probably doesn`t even qualify for Metis!
Something’s wrong with that picture.
No cuffs. No silent partner. No disco lights.
Just musing out loud.
batb, the problem is that the captcha code expires quickly. Thanks for the tip on how to refresh it.
I think I was beginning to figure out the time-thing with captcha … thanks!
