-Woods hears gunfire at or near the consulate, makes urgent request for military report, which is denied; Woods is ordered to stand down (do nothing)
Before midnight
-Woods ignores stand-down order, and takes a team to the consulate to assist
-Woods’ team finds Smith dead at the consulate
-Woods’ team cannot locate Stevens
-Woods’ team evacuates remaining consulate staff and returns to the CIA annex a mile away
12:00 am
-CIA annex (not the consulate) is now under attack
-Woods urgently calls for reinforcements, specifically requesting AC-130s; request is denied
-Woods’ team engaged in lengthy firefight; one team member is on roof with machine gun; Woods’ team in constant contact with HQ regarding situation
4:00 am
-after four hours of fighting, Woods and other members of his team are dead
The actions of this president and his advisors is neauseating. And likely are impeachable.
IMO – and it been my opinion for a while now, they let these guys die in order to pin it on the video and those who want to fight Islamism. They had the hubris to believe that those in state and the military and intel Depts would follow orders and not leak. They are wrong. They answer to higher morals.

I think there’s something to what you say, Rabbit. John Bolton’s “ideological filter” comment and ET’s comment on Obama’s narcissism above lead me to think the following.
Obama doesn’t like the military. He doesn’t get their culture. He can’t be assed to learn their ranks. He and his wife treat the Marines etc. assigned to then like joeboys. I can easily see him not giving a sh1t about the whole thing and watching it like a police chase on Cops.
We know the type of Lefty assigned to the White House staff -hate- the military, think they are a bunch of baby killers. I can easily see them leaving soldiers out in the cold if there’s some kind of political points on the line.
Bottom line, there’s nobody in control there who really cares if “some friggin’ soldiers” get waxed.
Then the dumb soldiers go and die on them, and now they’re stuck trying to explain why they left those guys out there when they could have saved them. Now we know there was Puff the Magic Freakin’ Dragon orbiting this SEVEN HOUR LONG firefight, the decision to let ’em die looks like deliberate murder. Smart political guys would know that.

See, if you have civilians demonstrating about a Mo movie then the decision to hold back the gunship looks -good-. Its only when the truth comes out that it looks -bad-.
Barry and company knew they could trust the MSM to hold back this news. They ARE still holding it back, as we see here.

From everything I have read and heard The request to have a C 130 come to aid was turned down. There was a drone feeding live information to the white house but a C 130 could have been there in time to save their lives. All Obama had to do was say “go”. Instead, permission was denied.

Somewhere, I saw a comment that the idea was that Ambassador Steven would be captured alive. Obama could then release the blind shiek in a prisoner exchange for the return of the ambassador. Don’t have any idea if there is evidence for this but I wouldn’t be surprised.

That is pretty much the best explanation I have read yet for why the Obama regime used the Libyan demonstrators angry about the “Innocence of Muslims” video turned violent as the FAKE MOTIVE behind the Benghazi mission attack which killed American Ambassador Stevens and 3 other American heros.
Everyone keeps saying things like “bungling”, “negligence”, “sleeping in” etc

I kept wondering why after first hearing about the “Consulate Cover-up” why they would who even try and cover-up anything, most Americans were too disingaged to give a damn about Libya.
