He killed a NATO soldier, it doesn’t really matter if the soldier was “Canadian” or not.
Hopefully people are taking good notes of those that publicly defend freeing him into our society; they need to be held accountable later for any crimes he commits on Canada’s streets.

Charges? Treason?
C’mon now, lighten up! How’s a promising young candidate ever supposed to lead the NDP with that kind of baggage?

I may be a pound shy and a dollar short here but perhaps the IED’s that have cost us so many Canadian and NATO lives might have enough either fingerprints or other DNA evidence that a good forensic lab could use to convict the perpetraitors of this type of terrorism. I realize I’m stretching it here a bit but just perhaps there could be enough evidence collected after an IED explosion to take someone like Khadr to court.

Where’s the petition?
I could get a several dozen names on it by tomorrow.
More if an execution was asked for.

Put little Omar in general population,turn off the cameras and have the prison guards go for coffee…problem solved.

I’ll sign the petition, but unless we get every single Canadian voter’s signature on it,don’t expect much to be done.
The Muslims are too big a voting block for any politician to offend.

btw, how old will Little Omar have to be before the MSM will stop running that picture of him from when he was 14 or younger?

I may take some flak for this, but my solution is make him, and his whole damned family, an offer they can’t refuse. The carrot: commute little Omar’s sentence to time served, and give mama and her other spawn the cash equivalent of a year’s worth of welfare payments. In exchange, they all agree to voluntarily renounce Canadian citizenship, surrender their Canadian passports, and board the next flight out to Egypt, or the islamic paradise of their choice, never to return. The stick: keep little Omar in the hoosegow for as long as is legally possible, pursue getting him declared a dangerous offender, and try him for other crimes, treason included.
I figure this would cost us less money, and get them out of our misery.

Troubling though it is for me to risk being thought of as siding with murderous little Omar, I must say its even more troubling to think that a treason charge would be in any way affected by a -petition- in even the smallest detail. Because a petition on a treason charge against The Phantom would probably get a few signatures if posted in certain circles.
However, I -am- of the opinion its a shame somebody didn’t pop him on the battle field.

Section 46 reads as follows: “High treason (1) Every one commits high treason who, in Canada, (a) kills or attempts to kill Her Majesty, or does her any bodily harm tending to death or destruction, maims or wounds her, or imprisons or restrains her; (b) levies war against Canada or does any act preparatory thereto; or (c) assists an enemy at war with Canada, or any armed forces against whom Canadian Forces are engaged in hostilities, whether or not a state of war exists between Canada and the country whose forces they are.
he YCJA (Youth Criminal Justice Act) governs the application of criminal and correctional law to those 12 years old or older, but younger than 18 at the time of committing the offence (Section 2 of the YCJA). Youth aged 14 to 18 may be tried and/or sentenced as adults under certain conditions, as described later on in the act. The Criminal Code of Canada, section 13, states “No person shall be convicted of an offence in respect of an act or omission on his or her part while that person was under the age of twelve years.”
