  1. This would be funny, except that it is true. We in the west are just to willfully blind to realize and do something about it.

  2. It may have been useful for the actors to take a stab at who pays for this idiocy as well.

  3. Actually, we should hope like he** that this spoof remains correct. Carbon credits, anyone??? So many wealthy people have their fingies in these derivatives.
Thanks to the EU disaster, which shows that even regional super-gov’ts have serious problems when the crunch comes, and Canada leading the “no” to a world bank tax agenda, world “democratic” governance moves by mostly un-democratic regimes are partially on ice for now.
It also helps that most of the G20 are broke. Again, thank you PM Harper for rousing others to show Obama that hopy-changy requires actual $$$ at some point. “All (stimulus) good things must end, some day… and Autumn markets/Democratic seats ..err leaves must fall …”
We will need a lot of vegan pseudo-seafood hor d’oeuvres in Korea and Mexico to make up for the oiled pelicans.

  4. So that’s why Israel competes in the EuroVision song contest! I’ve always wondered.

  5. Who’s the UN spokesperson/perdaughter?
    He’s cute!
Do you think he’s Jewish … I mean, in real life.

My word that goes in the first blank space is: Useless.
None of the words I can think of for the second blank space would pass Kate’s filters.

  7. UN: a futile, farcical failure.
Continue to their video “The One About Hamas”.
    It’s very good also.

  8. A contrived, feeble and very sick attempt at humour.
Sadly, Palistinians are modern modern-day Beothuks

  9. The UN is a haven for Social Engineering, an un-elected slug under every rock sucking up money intended for humanitarian assistance. They have zero legitimacy as a Global Government; unless you support a communist dictatorship…They will be gone, replaced by a G20+ of “elected” leadership charged with results based projects.

  10. A contrived, feeble and very sick attempt at humour.

Sure. Same thing. Population growth and high birth-rate nothwithstanding, their numbers have dwindled to nothing I’ve heard. On the brink of extinction they are.
If James Fenimore C. was alive today he’d be writing a book about them, whoops sorry, I mean “him”.

  11. Neo:
Satire by anyone, especially the English, is never contrived, feeble nor a sick attempt at humour. It flows naturally and finds its victim, who either laughs along with it, or takes offence.
It did the latter in your case, obviously.
Best weapon known to man is satire.
Sadly, Neo, the only Beothuks will be the Israelis if your friends have their way at the UN.

  12. Take the oil away from the middle east and they all, except Isreal, would be back driving camels.Saudi Arabia,Iran and other mid east countries have enough income to support Palistine.Egypt has a common border with Palistine and a wall.If Isreal is a bad guy then Egypt,Syria and Lebanon are worse as they are supposed to be Palistines friends.AS the old saying goes, with friends like those Palistine doesnt need enemies.

  13. My Idea is the UN should move to an Islamic Nation.
It would make it easier to pronounce anathemas against Israel.
Like the satire says, without Israel who would they use as a whipping boy? A source of income for UN bums?

  14. The U.N.’s Record on Israel 1947-1989
    Security Council:
    605 Total Resolutions
175 Resolutions on the Arab-Israeli Conflict
    74 Neutral
4 Against the perceived interests of an Arab state or body
    97 Against Israel
    General Assembly:
Cumulative number of votes cast with/for Israel: 7,938.
Cumulative number of votes cast against Israel: 55,642.
    Security Council: 1946-89
Since the Council first convened in 1946, at least one Arab state sat on it in 39 of the body’s first 43 years. Israel never sat on the Council. From December 1947, when the “Palestine Question” first appeared on its agenda, to 1989, the Council held 2,682 meetings of which 747 (26%) were devoted to the Arab-Israeli conflict. During this period, the Council passed 605 resolutions of which 175 (29%) concerned this conflict.

  15. I debate/deride the lefties that I work with(yes some work, gov’t) on Palestine/Israel issue whenever it comes up. After a week (blockade week) of constantly telling them to read the Hamas charter ,finally one asked me to send him some info backing up my claims.

I did,and now he is quiet. I figure it is because he knows that his side is very wrong, but doesn’t have the parts to speak out against his buddies, likely fearing ostracization from the cool group, and whore of whores, being thrown in with the resident knuckle-dragging ,racist wallyj. No balls, but at least he’s quiet for now. I will drag him in though.

A 14 year old with a moderate skill level of reading and comprehension given the Hamas charter will have more insight into the Middle East situation than probably half of the students attending university, and 95% of those attending pro-palestine events.
