  3. I saw this on Hannity. Talk about messiah worship. It was revolting and reminds me of something Tass, Pravda and Izvestia would have done. Don’t these morons realize how ridiculous they look.

  5. Typically, the only time I get chills is when I’m sick, cold, watching a horror movie (my least favourite and watched genre), or in close proximity to evil persons or entities.
    He would not be an American if his father did not come from Kenya – his father did not immigrate or become a US citizen – he was a visiting student with a visa who knocked up a young girl who had Obama when she was 18. Sounds like a case AGAINST immigration to me – the US would be much better off without Obama.
    Anyone else notice that Obama has had this odd smile on his face the past few weeks – I wonder if he is on medication or something.

    I almost had the same feeling listening to these vapid talking heads. How do they get paid for what they do?

    Or is that just part of the spin we’re supposed to swallow?
    If they tell us he’s a great orator enough times we’ll beleive it?

  10. He always has his chin raised in this imperious manner, I half expect to see a laurel crown upon his head as if he were a Roman emperor. His babbling sycophants are actually embarrassing to listen to, especially as they continue with the pretense of being “journalists”.
    And I’m so tired of hearing about “comprehensive immigration reform”. What a subterfuge; an attempt by the Democrats to co-opt the anger about illegal immigration and twist the narrative into something totally different (i.e., amnesty). Americans do not want “comprehensive immigration reform”, no matter how many times these mindless drones on TV parrot the administration’s talking points. Americans want the damn border secured. Period. All this nonsense about needing to create a path to citizenship? The USA already has a path to citizenship, and millions have managed to follow it the legal way.
    Rush Limbaugh nailed it when he described this as “the biggest Democrat voter registration drive in history”. If these illegal immigrants were likely to become Republican voters, you can bet the theme would be “planes, trains, and automobiles” — whatever it takes to deport them.

    I have no idea. I see no speaking skills at all from the man. There are websites out there with all the great speeches by presidents and others so you can compare. He’s not even in the ball park compared to the likes of Huey Long, Malcom x, Kennedy, etc. Now those guys could talk. No teleprompter necessary.

  17. Although I couldn’t listen to all 34 minutes of the sermon from the mount, I don’t recall the “full of details” part or anything that would send chills to a normal person. It was a typical O speech, full of fluffery but no details, delivered as well as his teleprompter could give.

  20. President Reagan granted amnesty to two million illegals but failed to secure the border with Mexico. If he had done so first this problem would not have occurred. Any amnesty now without a secured border will just amplify the problem again.
    If the US Federal government can’t control it’s Southern border (in open terrain), then it has no business thinking about, let alone attempting to do anything else, particularly now while it is busy intruding into almost every domestic service and industry. When a statist says the government should do this or that, the response should be how can a government that can’t control a border manage to do anything else. Republicans should be saying, no to everything on the table and further that the feds divest in its leviathan adventures and secure the border.

  21. The speech gave me chills too, chills of seeing a demagogue. My observation was not the Teleprompter babble but the two salient statements that were OBAMA real, made in a Van-Jones style
    1. The Arizona law is un-enforceable (Obama is saying he will not enforce the constitutional laws of the USA)
    2. Obama will suspend deportations until the Congress passes the (actually the GW Bush plan ) reform package. He is holding America Hostage
    He is sending his union thugs from California to demonstrate in Arizona… The stupid SOB will create a blood bath unless Arizona calls out the National Guard…
    He said we can’t secure the border because it’s difficult.. guess we should cancel R&D on cancer research, or don’t bother to cap the well in the Gulf because they are difficult.. What a lying turd, he is the after drug money for the election. The simple fact is that the, so-called, Mexican Drug cartel’s control the Drug distribution right to the “point of sale” in every American City. Who said you can’t buy the POTUS.
    I don’t want to hear any more jive about how a 51-foot ladder can scale a 50-foot wire topped fence, then climbed by a drug mule with a 75-pound backpack. Je… can our firemen just go to Home Depot and get 51″ ladders instead of ladder trucks. The babble of mental midgets who have never climbed a ladder

    21 men dead in a gun fight between two drug gangs, 12 miles from the Arizona border. Cops came along afterward and picked up nine survivors, six of whom were apparently shot.
    Armed, deputized civilians will be patrolling that border before Christmas, I prophesy it.

  23. Yeah, securing the border is a complex impossibility even though ancient civilizations using rudimentary tools have built longer barriers. That is not doable.
    Changing the climate of the entire planet through cap-and-trade? Totally doable!

  25. I often get chills listening to Obama myself. The kind of chills you feel when thinking of the grave.
    Or those feelings of a nightmare just before wakening. This guy belongs in a mental ward, not President.

  27. A caller on Mark Levin’s thursday show pointed out a nice little contradiction by the President. He said that the immigration system is a broken as the borders, and also said that the border is the most secure it has been for the last twenty years.
    Does anyone proof read these speeches?
