  1. Wow, I thought we lost this one when we were trailing by 21 points. Amazing game Riders!

  2. …it’s ok tho.. only had too many men on the field twice that game. 14 the first time when they had to burn a timeout right at the end of the 4th Q….. And called again on a 3rd down stop which resulted in first and goal.
Defense played pretty good… 4 sacks, and an int. Held the line pretty good too aside from being beat deep about 5 times…. 2 for TD’s.
And a kick runback for a TD…. That is 3 big scoring plays given up. If we can close those and learn to count… This might just be the best season ever. 🙂

  3. One of the best CFL games EVER, and I’ve been watching CFL since the 1960s era of George Reed and Ron Lancaster …this was a game worthy of the Grey Cup, never a dull moment!

  4. Too many men. Sask. Great Province but they can’t count there! Move over Newfoundland!

  5. Fantastic game, I can’t remember a more thrill packed CFL match. Good luck Roughies (From a Stamps fan).

  6. Now if only the Pilsner packaging people could count the same way as Ken Miller you guys would all be happy.
(I know not original, I did see something along this line back in Nov)

  7. Glad the Riders pulled it out of the fire, there. But you really, REALLY don’t want to give Montreal those kinds of chances.
Remember: a fair fight is one you didn’t plan well enough.

  8. We were at that game in Calgary and – as fate would have it – seated very close to the relevant goal line. I remember the cheers when the Montreal kicker missed, and the sudden hush when the crowd noticed the red flags on the field.
Is it too much to hope for that the Saskatchewan coaching staff can attain numeracy?

  9. I, too was fairly close to that relevant goal line. I enjoyed that game tremendously despite the frustrating loss. Felt bad for the disappointed almost to tears kid sitting near me on the C-Train after the game tough. The youngest generation just isn’t used to seeing the Riders lose like the rest of us, heh.
