Tony’s Viewpoint quotes a report claiming there are around 100 police in riot gear;
Police are now moving to arrest native protesters who have been occupying a residential subdivision site on Stirling Street in Caledonia.
Hmmm, I wonder if this has anything to do with the upcoming Ontario Provincial elections. Especially since the police are only now beginning to enforce law and order. It looks like McGuinty is finally beginning to feel some pressure to do something about the native occupation.
Watch for updates at Google news. Latest reports say 18 9 arrests, along with the disclosure that the ever accomodating OPP first offered up an escape plan to the alleged criminals;
Before the arrests, police say they gave protesters the option of leaving the property on their own or being charged and arrested.
Dalton only discovered his balls when Ipsos-Reid handed them to him.
Where was he 18 months ago?
the law firm of Dalton and McGinty said it was a federal problem only a day or two before. even as a home owner was attacked in his own house.
nothing as CBCpravda at this hour, although this story is already hours old.
Second that zilla.
That fact that these people have been held hostage for that long is totally unbelievable. The lawlessness that has been aloud to take place is outrageous. Hopefully, this is a start, lets see if charges stick…….
Any polls out re how citizens of Caledonia will vote.
“nothing at CBCpravda at this hour, although this story is already hours old.”
And it’s only going to get worse. The “newly created post of Publisher of CBC News”?
You mean, like a censor? To ensure the “correct” party line? And you thought Berman was bad—just wait and see.

Chicago Sun-Times publisher accepts top CBC News post
Last Updated: Wednesday, September 19, 2007 | 3:51 PM ET
CBC News
The Canadian-born publisher of the Chicago Sun-Times has resigned his post to become the news chief at the CBC, the public broadcaster announced Wednesday.
John Cruickshank, also the chief operating officer of the Sun-Times Media Group’s Chicago portfolio, has accepted the newly created position of publisher of CBC News.
CTV newsnet, that has a 15 minute rotation of news has so far missed this also.I think they are waitingto find a way to blame it on Harper.
That’s a bad scene!! Where is Kit Carson when we need him!!
FREE CALEDONIA!
I would like to inform all that the RCMP is leading this raid assisted by the OPP. Dalton got his wish.
Before we get too excited, it is worthwhile to note that police have only raided the site of the recent assault against Sam Gualtieri. The Douglas Creek Estates are still occupied.
The Chicago Sun-Times, thats a former Hollinger/Conrad Balck paper. his would be a good thing to get Cruickshank wouldn’t it?
Yes Zilla, I’m glad he’s finally woken up. I expect him to go right back to sleep when/if he gets re-elected.
Local televsion covered it at six – long interviews and comments about how painful and upsetting it was for the protesters and the six nations. (Hear that tiny violin?) The interviews were long and painful for me.
Gualtieri’s brother was pleased, he said the officers gave him a thumbs up on their way in.
As others have said, it’s good but just a start.
The Banana Republic of Ontario…
enforcing law when it suits the ‘Big Man’ in Queen’s Park, and screwing over taxpayers the rest of the time.
The people of Ontario deserve to have the equity in their homes diminished because they voted Liberal, they deserve extra ‘health’ taxes because McGuinty(Liar) made a big payoff to the Teacher’s Unions, Ontarions deserve to have fewer jobs, more criminals on their streets and bad health care too – But no one deserves the beating Gualtieri got from the aboriginals.
Elections are the best cathartic for the most stubborn of constipated issues.
Dalty has to be careful after the drumming he gave Mike Harris when he had to deal with the Oka crisis.
Looks like Old Dalty had to do the same thing, untie the hands of the OPP.
We note it was the federal police force which dragged Dolton’s Keystone OPPs with them…still at arms length from the action so he can blame any failure on the “feds”.

Screw it! Just Dolton/Mcqwerty and the whole of Onterrible to the six nations and let them all fight it out! No big lose.
Those boys will get a nice hot shower, a couple of squares, maybe some new sneakers then the offer of a grant or perhaps a vacation somewhere to chill out.
That’s all folks. These are Indians don’t forget … the true chosen people. Keeper of Gaia, spiritual giants etc etc.
Wonder woman said: “Before we get too excited, it is worthwhile to note that police have only raided the site of the recent assault against Sam Gualtieri. The Douglas Creek Estates are still occupied.”
Right On WW. Let’s mot forhet there are also over 300 ciminal complsints against DCE and SN occupiers not acted upon ans twice as many criminal complaints from the Ipperwash community…an 2 unsolved murders on SN occupied land.
This is a show piece…pure theater.
Let’s see if this results in criminal chatges and also goes to the DCE to rouste the real criminal element….then on to Ipperwash where community residents have been totally abandoned by the province and the police.

The RCMP, huh? Isn’t that the police thugs who kidnapped
the poor aboriginals heading for Deseronto to support
Shawn Brant this week?
Well… not exactly.
Spata Desareau, a member of the tribe that is an offshoot of
the Navajo, had told the Intelligencer the 28-person group
was taken into custody Sunday en route to the aboriginal
protest at a quarry near Deseronto.

The nonsense has spread to Manitoba, as the Hollow Water First Nation is holding legal cottage lot owners hostage. Will Doer pull a Dalton and pay up or will law and order prevail, stay tooned.
Well someone has to shoot a spark up the arse of TO autocrats who have turn off police enfocement of the provincial deeding system and property rights.
This week (obviously emboldended by the lack of legal action against SN trespassing on private proerty
This is a show piece…pure theater.
That’s what I’m thinking. It is a ruse.
According to Caledonia Wakeup Call, Clyde Powless O.K.’d the arrests!
I don’t know what native people want. No one not even them know. It changes all the time.
So now we know what it takes for an Indian to get arrested in Caledonia by the OPP.
You have to beat a guy half to death in front of his family AND OPP officers, and then hang around for a week “protesting” in front of the guy’s house.
But there has to be an election on. And Dalton has to be losing.
Gawd. Words fail me. I’m getting a BIG conservative lawn sign.
…election? what election?
– just a coincidence you know.
You can bet if us white folks had occupied someone’s property we would be arrested toute-suite
For complete details about the arrest see: http://www.caledoniawakeupcall.com
For complete details about Sam Gualtieri, who just got released from hospital, see: http://www.caledoniawakeupcall.com/topics/stirling.html
The Gualtieri Family are asking people to join the ‘Remember Us’ March on Oct. 8th to draw attention to the lawlessness.

At the risk of being accused of wearing a tinfoil toque let me propose a possible explanation for the aberated and extreme behavior of the Six Nations at Caledonia.
The disenfranchised natives within the reservation system had been growing openly discontented with the Indian Act and its system of nepotism and corruption. Many native people want change, want to enjoy the rights and freedoms enjoyed by the Canadian mainstream. The corrupt Chiefs need to isolate and control the majority of reservation natives.
What better way to accomplish this than to create incidents which get the majority of Canadians mad at all aboriginal people? Then the corrupt Chiefs with their system of nepotist control can pose as the defenders of the oppressed aboriginal people.
This is one of the oldest strategic tricks in the book, get the establishment to act in a violent way towards the people and in this way politicize and polarize them. Anyone who wishes to adopt “the white mans ways” becomes a traitor.
The ring leaders of these criminal Chieftain gangs need to be isolated rounded up and arrested. When the majority of aboriginal become convinced that the federal government will protect them then we can begin to discuss the radical changes that need to be made to the Indian Act.
“Dalty has to be careful after the drumming he gave Mike Harris when he had to deal with the Oka crisis”.
Ummm……Ipperwash? Oka is in Quebec.
It’s a safe bet that all charges against the arrested trespassers will be dropped after the election if Ontario’s girly-man premier is re-elected.
BRO: The Banana Republic of Ontario, that’s for sure.
We’ve got to get rid of Duh-lton McGuilty, but who’s the alternative? The only thing tory about the Conservative leader is his name.
Where’s Superman when you need him?
Gepetto and Pinocchio take a break from ole Barney.

Help Samantha!
Lowell Green Show – 11am — A caller to Lowell Green’s Show named Samantha has been fighting to get a PET scan to attempt to track her cancer, and was blocked by Ontario bureaucracy, now it is most likely too late to save her. Hear Samantha’s story, and send this link to your MPP to see if he or she will stop this stupidity should they be elected on October 10th.

Ontario Election Debate tonight September 20 on CBC/CTV/CPAC/TV Ontario 6:30pm-8pm Eastern.
ok4u said: “I don’t know what native people want. No one not even them know.”
They want whatever they can get away with using the guilt/victim shtick…the reserve system created a something-for-nothing victimhood cult which has mutated into a revisionist You-owe-us mentality.
The native largess extortion culture on reserves is the crowning achievement of the Liberal culture of entitlement.
http://voiceofcanada.wordpress.com/2007/09/19/whos-in-charge-six-nations-confederacy-or-julian-fantino/
Voice of Canada reports that the raid was made by OPP lead by RCMP, and that it went forward AFTER getting permission from the 6 Nations weenies.
So (if true, obviously)we are now treated to the spectacle of our tax dollar paid cops being used as enforcers by a criminal organization. Free muscle to keep their own a-holes in line.
Way to go Dalton.
After summing up all the information available from the media, it is obvious that the raid was a farce. They got permission from the natives, which means that the arrested were just actors, assigned roles. They will be charged with nominal offenses and eventually released to disappear. No solution to the big picture will come out of that.
Fantino got a photo op and an interview opportnunity, just as his liberal masters.
The natives will be back causing chaos the moment they decide, nothing changed in that respect.
Aaron … Go the Head of the Class!
Lots of noise needs to be made in Ontario that Dalton calling the police to save an election is way more important than calling in the police to save a justice system or a community.
It’s too bad that rank and file OPP, tired of being instruments in someone else’s games, thought that they were doing something good finally. Judging by the thumbs up that Joe G reported. Sad farce it was, very sad. 🙁
