The Conservatives broke into a rendition of Pink Floyd’s Another Brick in the Wall to reveal their disgust at the excessive spending habits of David Dingwall, the former head of the Mint who retired last week amid allegations that he and his staff spent $740,000 last year.
Tory revenue critic Brian Pallister began the rendition with his version of the tune: “You don’t need no information, We’re in charge of thought control, Fine wines with caviar in the backroom.�
The other Tories finished with the chorus, “Hey Tories! Leave those Grits alone.�

The simple act of poking a little bit of fun at the Liberal Party now gets people in a huff.
The spoof in question wasn’t childishness. It was nothing more than a few MPs, who are sick to death of Liberal arrogance, trying to preserve their sanity.
To all those who are so utterly besotted with the Liberal Party, find yourself a communist country and move there. You have precious little understanding of what it means to think freely.
What was funnier (and I REALLY look forward to reading) was Milliken after QP on the point of order regarding singing vs. speaking (I usually have it in the background & don’t always remember to shut it down right away). Pallister responded at one point(quite respectfully) that “maybe we should sing more and shout less”. It was pretty funny.
Classic Brian Pallister. He’s always busting out poems and rhymes as member statements.

Bottom line: Is Dingwall under investigation? Will the missing/misappropriated public funds in his care repaid by the Liberal party. In short has anyone taken responsibility for this civil affront and is there any restitution forthcoming to the public purse?
This is all that justice demands….if we( taxpayers/voters) cant get justice when we have been wronged by our elected/appointed trustees, then government has no civil purpose.

Lessee… If the Conservatives sound angry, people complain. If the Conservatives sound funny, people complain. Basically, if you’re a Conservative people will complain whenever you open your mouth.
It was the SSM crap followed up by Harper rubber-stamping a bunch of Lib spending promises that cost the Conservatives my support. While the Pink Floyd episode didn’t get them my vote back, it did at least cause me to think more kindly of them. (For the moment, anyhow.)
