      I, personally, would be deploying covert troops to contain them all, and define the walls of the kill zone. Then, everyone inside the wall is liquidated without exception. Men, women, no exceptions. No surrender, no quarter, no mercy. Every Iranian operative in the city at one go.

      But that is just me.

  8. Evacuate the embassy under heavy guard and air cover and then evacuate all armed forces from Iraq and then Afghanistan.
    Let the Chinese and Russians waste resources trying to control the area.
    If the Iranians get out of hand, a couple cruise missiles into Kharg Island is all that is needed.

  14. I stated here just last week when someone raised rumours of possible conflict with Iran that I am very glad Donald Trump is POTUS. I trust both his judgement and the sincerity of his motives more than any other US president in my adult lifetime.

    I believe I also stated that if someone had told me 5 yrs ago that I would one day be uttering those words, I would have collapsed to the floor in fits of laughter.

    1. I like one sci-fi author’s idea that Earth Day is bounty collection day on the worst leaders in the world. It was done as a practice for the assault team that would be facing the next level of Galactic Survivor and facing the genocide drone that has been dispatched to cleanse the earth… (Weird plot to describe, but the author makes it work in an entertaining way.)

      So… find a philanthropic organization, define “free elections” in a way that can be measured relatively easily, and the bounty becomes $1 million for each 10 million people in the country?

      The key item from the book that applied here was that there was no effort to clean up the country that had had the leadership wasted. A vacuum was left, and if the next folks to step into the vacuum behaved the same way then they would be candidates for the next Earth Day in a Darwinian fashion.

      Westerners that want to “help” must move there and maintain that residency for at least 10 years before they’re allowed back into their country of origin.

  21. What kind of Embassy fails to mine the entrances?
    I note that this is in the heavily fortified Green Zone,so Iraqi troops must have allowed these “Mourners” on site.
    Gives President trump a tremendous out, should he decide to pay Iraq back in kind.
    Remember this is the same Iraqi Government that so fucked up their military command that they created and armed ISIS.
