      1. PSA: As we near the end of 2019 it is a good time for all of us to change the battery in our sarcasm & irony detectors. For those of us in colder climes I suggest using Lithium batteries.

        Merry Christmas to all !

  1. The babies will balance themselves.

Mealy mouthed Canadian Leftist Liberal Lester B. Pearson, the brain?child of Useless Nations Peacekeepers would be proud.

  2. “Abandoned to poverty”?

The Haitians were in poverty prior to any UN peacekeepers, prior to anyone from the Red Cross or Clinton Foundation making its mark on the island.

Haiti has been working full time towards their goal of ultimate poverty for hundreds of years.
Now they’ve fully attained it, and they and the left blame others. There are still “slaves” in Haiti, kept by fellow Haitians.
Haiti is a shithole of both its own making, and France’s choices over the past centuries.
Haiti has had 220 years to get its act together, yet it continues to exist like it doesn’t know what to do, how to crawl out of its past.

How can Haiti join the modern world? Stop being Haitian, leave the past, the Haitian past offers nothing to any culture. Everything in the country is wrong, and broken, and a textbook example of what not to do. The most basic markets in Haiti don’t function at any higher level than how a market in Senegal or Liberia would function. When NGO’s show Haitians “how to farm” and re-visit a year later, the fields are barren. NGO’s and church groups continue to go there, showing the locals how to function, and their well meaning advice goes in one ear and out the other.
If the $billions of post earthquake UN-Red Cross organized care sent to Haiti had actually been spent on rebuilding infrastructure and housing and not sent through the financial filter at the Clinton Foundation, it wouldn’t have made any difference.

The Haitians and leftists / UN bonafides and NGO’s around the world have made it a cottage industry to blame others for Haiti’s failure. Now it’s the UN peacekeeper’s turn to take one for the team. In another 200 years, Haiti will be the same as it is now, and hopefully the Dominicans on the eastern section of the island will have built a more secure fence.

Why would Europe, that is importing millions of immigrants from Africa, not simply send ships to Haiti and collect those wanting a French life? Could it be that Europe views the Haitians as actually being less desirable than the current stock from Africa?
There are about 60,000 Haitians in France, 160,000 in Canada, mostly in Quebec.

The average I.Q. of a Haitian is about 70. An I.Q of 75 is the minimum to be able to conduct repeatable tasks without constant oversight.

Does it sound like I hate the Haitians? I don’t hate them. I am certain though, that it’s a much better idea to send money to those that will actually use the money to improve their state.

    1. Perfect summary. The litter the UN “Peacekeepers” abandoned in Haiti probably raises the average IQ in that shithole. Haiti is like Somalia, beyond help.

      1. No,Haiti isn’t “beyond help”. Just appoint a Haitian immigration Minister in Canada and bring ’em all here,as our Somalian IM has done. Problem solved, now it’s Toronto and Montreal that have the problem.

I expect reparations will be demanded by the UN for the deflowering of all those Haitian virgins, Canada’s share should be about,oh, $150 million.

        1. Good point, wonder if they will come with their own buckets of liquid diversity or will taxpayers be required to fund those as well?

    2. Spot On! MIC

Sometimes all I got is a musical retort from my favorite fusion band of all time. Who are like a musical Seinfeld … a song for every ordinary thing in life. Because Walter Becker is/was a guitar genius (dig his Latin Jazz distorted guitar in this one), and Donald Fagen a wry, wisecracking, New York savvy poet of the highest order.

  3. Did US troops in West Germany and Japan father babies then abandoned mothers to lives of poverty?

    1. My son is soon to be married to one of those Japanese women impregnated by an American serviceman … she has a PhD from Stanford in a hard science. Nope few were left behind in Japan.

  4. Imagine that……..UN peacekeepers being in Haiti long enough; that they started acting just like Haitian men. I at least hope the Haitian women raised their prices for the peacekeepers. Why debase yourself for a dollar, when you can make a dollar fifty from the UN soldiers.

  5. Let the U.N. give them DNA tests, let the soldiers pay in real money, not Haitian gourdes.
Have it deducted from their pay. eiffers !
