  1. Just finished off the left over fatty corned beef and cabbage. Slow cooked fatty brisket. Yaaah Another one they diss a lot is eggs. Had 2 of our own chicken eggs for breakfast with home made wheat bread and good ol bacon and a dollop of homemade Elderberry jelly, the toast had butter. If it wipes me out I guess it will take the Cockatoo Tommy down too cuz he always extorts 1/4 of a slice of my toast every morning. Damn Liberal Tax Collector. Yah I know I am going to die, but so is everyone else.

    1. Egg yolks are of a type of cholesterol, not the same as human cholesterol, which the human digestive tract cannot break down. Tasty as they are, egg yolks are entirely excreted by your GI tract. Eggs don’t help your brain, and they don’t make you fat.

      1. Yes, eggs are tasty and don’t make one fat.

Cholesterol is cholesterol. It is a molecule synthesized by all animal cells.

Cholesterol is not broken down. It is absorbed as required.

Egg yolks are not entirely excreted. Egg yolks provide numerous bioavailable nutrients such as vitamin B12, betaine, choline, folate, methionine, leutin, zeaxanthin, DHA, vitamin K2, retinol and more.

  2. Mmmm. My love of pork fat may pay off yet. I know I’m smarter than Vegans cause I eat bacon and they don’t.

  3. I wonder if the seemingly sudden explosion of autism cases is related? Pregnant women cutting back on good meat fat? I know some of it is due to increased diagnosis of individuals low on the ‘spectrum’, but there still seems to be a lot.

  4. My milk, cheese and egg eating vegetarian coworker hates it when vegans accost him about him eating milk, cheese and eggs. He has no use for vegans, he knows you need certain animal based products in your diet. I didn’t even know he was vegetarian, he is not pushy at all.

  5. ‘About 2/3 of the human brain is fat’
Ironic that many people refer to me as Fathead.

  6. Reason #1,452 why vegans are self-absorbed idiots. Now to establish whether they’re stupid because their brains are starved of animal fats, or they started off stupid and aren’t helping themselves.

  7. Off topic, but have you considered adding up and down votes to this site?

Or was it a conscious choice not to?

It would be interesting to see who agrees or otherwise to various comments, and to what degree.

  8. For everyone here who discounts the Bible, if one were to read it, one would find out that the diet that ADONAI, God, ordered the people of Israel to eat as part of their gifts of gratitude to him for their prosperity (i.e., “sacrifices”) was meat, grain, and wine.

Guess what God called the Land that he was giving to the people of Israel to occupy? The land of milk and honey.

And since, according to the Bible, God specifically created us, then he would certainly know what the best diet for us would be.

So, meat, grain, wine, milk, and honey sounds really, really good to me!

    1. They were also expected to camp out once a year and grilling meat on a big barbecue was an integral part of their worship. Sounds alright to me.

      1. According to the Bible, during those festivals, a great time was always had by all.

Most importantly, God himself was with them, all of them, not just an entitled few. Now that must have been a barbecue!

  9. “…Perhaps most importantly, DHA is critical to the development of the human cortex—the part of the brain responsible for higher-order thinking. Without DHA, the highly sophisticated connections necessary for sustained attention, decision-making, and complex problem-solving do not form properly. …”

Critical to the developement of the human cortex. eh?

On a completely unrelated matter, does anyone know if that new U.S. Congressperson with the horse teeth, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortex or whatever, is a herbivore?

    1. Occasional Kotex..??
      Actually, I think she’s a Breatharian….LOL.!
      Remember them…??

Regardless , what she eats (likely Hay), she’s brain dead. Much like Notely, Trudeau, McKenna, Obama, Sanders, Merkel, Macron….Any civil servant and any Union Leader.

  10. That’s why only westerners are to be forced to eat a vegan diet while Chinamen breakfast on prime Canadian pork. Malnutrition will keep the hairy white devils slow, stupid, and docile.

  11. People go vegan for ethical reasons, and go back to meat for health reasons. Suddenly they don’t give a f#ck about animal rights anymore.

  12. Old news… Just take a DHA supplement if your levels are low…

Also, there actually ARE plants that produce DHA, that author just hasn’t heard of algeas…

    1. Algae are protista not plants.

The brain bioavailability of DHA as a supplement is low unless in phospholipid form (such as krill oil). Humans have a transporter specialized for the phospholipid form of DHA called the Mfsd2a transporter. Taking tocotrienols and tocopherols with the DHA helps its transport into the brain. Or one could consume DHA in animal products without the need for supplementation.

        1. You still need either phospholipid form of DHA (to use the special blood-brain barrier transporters) or vitamin E at the same time, which is necessary to get the DHA into the brain. Humans evolved to extract DHA in a natural food form and context, not as a supplement. DHA in animal tissue comes with the forms of vitamin E one needs.

B12, also, has different forms with different bioavailability. Most B12 supplements are next to useless, which is why many people need to get shots–the oral supplements have marginal utility for most. Even shots are often of not much effect, compared to animal food sources. For brain health one wants the methyl form of B12 or the 5′-deoxyadenosylcobalamin (AdoCbl) form. One can get the former in supplements but it’s quite a lot more expensive than regular B12 supplements. It’s much cheaper to eat egg yolks. The mitochondria in cells use a form of B12 and animal muscle tissue (which is the most abundant in mitochondria) is a good source of that form, plus we have evolved to extract it. Again, one has to consider the context in which the food is digested, including symbiotic gut bacteria. None of this is in supplements. The effectiveness of the supplement is a happenstance of what the person is otherwise eating and the state of their gut bacteria.

  13. Fat gives the body energy. It has the most calories of all the nutrients: 9 calories per gram. In a healthy diet, about 30 percent of total daily calories should come from fat. This means eating about 50 to 80 grams of fat each day is about right for adults.

Vitamins A, D, E & K are fat soluble vitamins. One needs fat to get the benefits of these vitamins.

    Enjoy your fat.
Can you just smell that juicy burger now?

  14. The Brain needs Animal Fat that explains why Cory Booker and AOC are such a bunch of idiots the same gose to PETA and its idiot founder Ingrid Newkirk
