  1. Because Scott Brisson resigned, the minister of [insert portfolio here] left the cabinet.

  2. Yeah, if only they could take it a step further and allow, let’s say, a native woman to be Attorney-General. You know, like [delete name here].

  3. Reading that paragraph seemed to me like I was reading a prayer, like some ritual words intended to ward off the evil spirits of: common sense, individualism, and just good old moral behaviour.

  4. James, if you didn’t have the means, what state would you move to? CA is really killing me with all the taxes.

    Answer:

Arizona, but it’s turning blue. Same with Nevada. Texas and Florida are fiscally conservative, but the #BlueCancer is eating away at them as well. I, too, am most probably leaving California, but like you am stymied on where to go…

    1. The Real Kenji has also been struggling with a suitable destination for my CA flight. My families white (conservative) flight found a wonderful little suburb in the early 1960’s which has now become been inundated with the second wave of white (leftist) flight from the inner Bay Area. And despite the relative peace of my sanctuary-suburb, State policies are eating me out of house and home.

I have considered further flight to a deep-Red CA County in the Sierra foothills, however, it appears as though any such destination would eventually get burned to the ground by PG&E or State Forest mismanagers. I have a very wealthy relative who settled in Jackson Hole, WY … however, not even my insanely-valued CA Real Estate values will buy anything more than a 2-bed shack in what has become a Billionaires paradise. So, I am considering more desolate corners of WY, Idaho, or Montana. Oregon and Washington are out of the question – they’ve been fully Californicated. Colorado is out of the question – too many dopers. Arizona is out of the question – due to their LAST reelection of John McCain (and it’s too damned hot). New Mexico is too leftist. North Texas horse country has some appeal to me, but I worry about making it into my Tornado shelter in time. Nashville is nice – in places – but I am a Westerner by birth and heart. I am struggling to find a suitable locale for my FINAL flight of life … for life. My country has become a voluntary 3rd world nation. Where to go … where to go?

      1. When my family did the big road trip to California back in 2002, we traveled south from Calgary through Montana. Our first overnight was in Butte, Montana. Its heyday was back in the 1890’s, early 1900’s. Incredibly beautiful, with many old Craftsmen style homes. Economically, it was very depressed, but the real estate prices were very cheap. In the intervening 17 years, I think it would be a grand place to live. What you cannot buy locally, you could order over the internet. I do not know what the winters would be like, but they cannot be any worse than what Regina has endured for the last 2 months. And, did I mention how incredibly cheap the real estate prices were then – yes I did. I do not know if they have gone up since then, but it is well worth considering.

        1. I think it would be hard to endure a Montana winter after living in California.
The soft air and easy temps. in California are like heaven to this old prairie dog.

          1. My theory is to “winter” in warmer States … if the cabin fever gets too much. That is what my wealthy Uncle does … although he says that a bus ride to the ski lift is about 5min. from his home. He still skis at 82yo

I believe my orthopedic surgeon would be OK with me gliding over the Blue square runs … just no black diamonds or jumps on my reconstructed hip.

      2. Idaho, Montana and Wyoming are all great states! You are also close to Canada in those areas, you could always come up and visit, flex your dollar and have a few laughs!
I have relatives in Fullerton, they say Orange County is one of the last bastions of conservatism in the state.. I have another conservative Relative in Denver, says it’s getting worse in that state and finally, one relative in New York City, but he fits in well with the lifestyle there!

Hang on to your life, Kenji!

        1. Great tune, that cheered me up … I am quite an early Guess Who fan. I assume that was Bachman’s cool blues lead guitar riff.

I believe that No Time is one of the greatest rock songs ever written. Seriously. I love how Bachman changes from a driving, fuzz, power riff … and then changes to a beautiful lilting, ringing, melody in the chorus. Brilliant writing and playing.

By the time I move … Trump will be replaced by AOC, and Canada will have a conservative PM. The exchange rate will reverse, and you will be visiting MY country for discounted goods. Ha!

      3. Before you bash me or trash me (maybe deservedly) consider Hawaii.

Yes. its leftist, this state brought us Crazy Mazie and Tulsi Gabbard…….

The cost of living is higher than the continental 48, due to transport costs, but, you dont have to worry about heating your home, or AC much, due to the pleasant year round temps. Its not a third world shithole, there are homeless, but they are everywhere.

Without knowing much more about the nitty gritty, its another option despite the moronic Demarxists that keep getting elected there. You could do much worse. California has become a lost cause, as has Oregon and Washington, its shocking to see the level of crazy socialists being elected there, seems even worse than the morons that get elected in Canada now, never thought I would see that day.

  5. Here’s another canned statement that many Libs could find very useful….

‘As a Liberal MP, I want to declare that I am innocent of these [insert crime here] charges.’

  6. I was preparing a fill in the blanks for suitable insulting adjectives….but I just couldn’t leave the spaces blank. It was like some sort of weird auto complete feature.

  7. There is a theory that when occurances like this take place someone actually does it as an act of rebellion.

“Whats the problem Telford? My team posted the tweet just like you asked”

These are the signs of a palace coup.
There are liberals that think all they have to do is have a quick leadership replacement like the PC party in Ontario did and they can get the same result.

There will be blood, the Sockmonkey will not go quietly.

  8. Typical globalist central government messaging. Liberals truely believe that a cookie cutter approach works for a country the size of ours. Kinda of the opposite of the diversity message bullshite. Liberals are hypocrites.

  9. Canadians are racist bastards because of (insert here). This message brought to you by the Toronto Star.

  10. Being an American, it is not clear to me what [insert ‘community’ name here] she is part of … which makes her so proud of her International Victim day? Is she a Homo? A Trans? or a Bi?

    Ignorant Americans want to know.

  11. Hey Kenji they’re liberals. [Uninstall brain here]
I liked the union-made Saskatchwan(sp) NDP Caucus sign. Perfect.

  12. I remember a Greenpeace news release years ago when they were making the transition from environment to professional fundraising (more money in it). After the usual boiler plate there were the brackets (FILL IN ALARMIST AND ARMAGEDDONIST FACTOID HERE)
Sincerity – if you can fake that, you’ve got it made George Burns
    Sheep are for fleecing me

  13. This has all the appearances of Stalin’s sycophants praising him from a written script or clapping

“The audience exploded into applause. Every person in the room jumped up and began to wildly clap, as if racing each other to see who could get to their feet the fastest. The applause was all to honor the dictator Joseph Stalin at a 1937 conference of the Communist Party in the Soviet Union.

But the big question soon became: Who would have the nerve to be the first person to stop clapping in honor of Comrade Stalin? No one had the courage, so the clapping went on…and on…and on.”

    http://www.disappearingman.com/communism/men-wouldnt-stop-clapping/

We are there folks, the cult of personality.

    1. Is Katie Telford taking names of all the Liberal MPs who are not enthusiastically supporting Turdeau?

    2. *precisely* sir. in fact, it was Stalin himself who would have to time and again, wave his hand in a downward motion to quell the vicious circle of applause. again and again.
dig up some vids SDA and see for yourself. in fact ANY of them, mao, kim jong crew, ceasescu etc etc.

have a good week SDA, ttyl !!!
watch out for LIEberal pickpockets !!!

  14. ” Is she a Homo? A Trans? or a Bi? ”
Goodness, if she was also indigenous and in a wheelchair she’d have ALL the bases covered.

    1. I watch the national weather temps almost daily … on OAN News … and Hawaii’s temps are ALWAYS between 78 and 84 deg. F The temps are ideal virtually every day of the year. However, I have witnessed growing racism and resentment from the native Hawaiians. There are some places that we haolis just shouldn’t go. That bothers me. I can’t stand the growing anti-white racism. I feel I need to find a location where “my people” dominate the population.

  15. This kind of mistake is bound to happen until the PMO fills its vacancy for chief Turd polisher.

  16. Justin is the one that reads the script.
Telford is the one that prompts the audience to cheer.
Butts was the script writer that made sure the meme was proof read

all of them somewhere between stinging hilarious sarcasm and a ‘meh, business as usual’.
Cdn humour is the best, and the best of it based on real stuff, and the best of that drawn from HoC etc.

    1. “Linus Van Pelt”
