    1. The woman who is interviewed in the article does not receive payments because she does not generate enough electricity. She paid $18,000 for her solar panels and expects to save $1,000 per year for a return on her investment of 18 years not counting interest loss on her original investment. She is a dope.

      More importantly, B.C. Hydro is cancelling the payments for surplus electricity because 6 individuals managed to generate electricity from running creeks with one person making $60,000 in a year. The rebate program was never intended for people to make money (huh?). Six people making between $10,000 and $60,000 is about $150,000 (ish) and so they are cancelling the program. What a smoke screen. B.C. Hydro is not closing a loophole, it is preventing anyone but B.C. Hydro from selling you electricity.

  4. Duke University vice president of student affairs walks into the campus Joe Van Gogh coffee shop. Hears rap music playing that includes profanity and the n-word. Complains to coffee shop owner and demands baristas be fired. Joe Van Gogh fires baristas. Students demonstrate. Duke University claims the coffee company initiated the firing and not them. Audio surfaces saying otherwise. Everyone apologizes. Joe Van Gogh reiterates that it places its workers above profits. Closes down campus shop and offers to rehire fired baristas elsewhere. Britni Brown, the barista who served the VP student affairs is black. The rapper of said rap music is black. The other barista is white. No indication if the VP student affairs is black or white. Stephen Colbert asks if we’re allowed to complain about the music in coffee shops then Mike Buble should be arrested. Everyone agrees.

    1. Well….. the man has an interesting history. Someone tried to kill him in Feb 2017 and again in September …. hospitalized for that attempt.

      Claims he was a crack baby who was essentially abandoned by his mother (father unknown).
      Seems to really distrust women, well maybe just black women, I can’t exactly tell.

    It is very much the latter,and doctors probably do get kickbacks. Mention in passing to your doctor that you’re feeling a bit “down” today,and the first thing he’ll do is ask if you want a prescription. For every mood, no matter how fleeting, there’s an antidote.

    Btw, big warning to gun owners in Canada, with the new laws the Liberals are about to put in place, don’t take any prescriptions for anti-depression medicines as your medical files are going to be delved into when you apply or re-apply for a PAL.

    1. While I don’t doubt that Hermann Goering said this, I think it’s not true. And not true most especially today with the rise of the internet, twitter, facebook, etc.

      Hermann Goering was definitely not the sharpest tack. Hitler was the “Leader” not Goering. Hitler had to convince the people that he would save them from runaway inflation, inept public officials, massive unemployment, oppressive reparations, etc., etc. All real issues and grievances. This he did accomplish but not by attacking “pacifists”.

      Goering on the other hand was just along for the ride. History has determined that he was largely a fool.
      So, what exactly is your point?
