  1. The Asian WEF … and: “ … with a dynamic social-market economy”.

Yeah … anytime you see the word “social” … or “Justice” … or “equity” in front of market economy … RUN! And VOTE these Socialists OUT of your government. Hint: eh Canadians?

    1. Climate Scam gets another scalp.

      Coming soon to your neighborhood.

“But the underlying reason for the fall of Sri Lanka is that its leaders fell under the spell of Western green elites peddling organic agriculture and ‘ESG’, which refers to investments made following supposedly higher Environmental, Social, and Governance criteria. Sri Lanka has a near-perfect ESG score (98) which is higher than Sweden (96) or the United States (51),” explained Micheal Shellenberger.

Higher oil prices resulted in transportation prices rising by 128 percent since May as a result of the country insisting on adhering to Soros’ ESG directives.

“The biggest and main problem causing Sri Lanka’s fall was its ban on chemical fertilizers in April 2021. Over 90 percent of Sri Lanka’s farmers had used chemical fertilizers and, after the ban, 85 percent experienced crop losses. After the fertilizer ban, rice production fell 20 percent and prices skyrocketed 50 percent in just six months. Sri Lanka had to import $450 million worth of rice despite having been self-sufficient in the grain just months earlier. The price of carrots and tomatoes rose five-fold. Tea, the nation’s main export, also suffered, thereby undermining the nation’s foreign currency and ability to purchase products from abroad.

“While there are 2 million farmers in Sri Lanka, 70 percent of the nation’s 22 million people are directly or indirectly dependent on farming.”

  2. Speaking of the WEF. Hmm.

    Ezra Levant @ezralevant; 13h
The World Economic Forum’s Cyber Polygon hacking simulation was scheduled for yesterday, by coincidence, the day that one of Canada’s largest networks, Rogers, was knocked down down. The WEF says they actually cancelled their simulation yesterday.

Link to Cyber Polygon announcement at Ezra’s. [Pardon me if this gets posted twice]

    1. Funny how these politicians escaping their own country have HUGE cases full of CASH.
While they screw over their citizens.
Certainly is a profitable venture being a part of the WEF gang.

      1. The odds of finding an honest, ethical political leader is as rare as finding a white buffalo or white stag. Mostly myths and legends.

Politicians distract the public with grand, high-minded policies while secretly filling their pockets and emptying the treasury. Sri Lanka is merely at a more advanced stage if economic and societal collapse. All countries seem to be on the same path.

  3. Words. Words that could be generated from any idiotic university campus today, they’re like siren songs for idiot liberal voters.

  4. This is how I will make my country rich. We’ll grow the economy from the heart out and the budget will balance itself.

    1. He he.
It’s a great soundbite , until you sit down and really think about what was just said.

      Pure f*ckin INSANITY.

  5. In the 20th century, the elites seemed happy just to be exceedingly rich. It seems that wasn’t enough for them, and they now need populations of impoverished peasants to lord over.

  6. Folks that think govt-induced famine can’t happen in the West clearly haven’t read ANY history, let alone that of the 20th century. It’s coming unless somehow the people can stop the elitist climate cabal. And soon.

    1. This is the crux of the problem right here. Talk to any liberal and they either have no sense of history or they think modern western governments are benevolent leaders looking out for the citizens (perhapsclumsily at times). Oddly enough, I have found it’s easier to convince someone who is ignorant of history what’s coming down the pipe than someone who is “educated”. Brainwashed I suppose.

  7. The farmer that runs Saskatchewan better pull his head out of his rear end and start mounting an offence against Ottawa and their plan to destroy our agriculture. All options should be on the table, and front and centre should be separation before it’s too late. His current plan to hold meetings about Sask autonomy aren’t going to cut it. The province’s trying to play defence against Trudeau has been an epic failure.

  8. Wake me when these Wretched Evil F**kers start getting assassinated.
    Of course I’m not advocating…

  9. Every politician from municipal to premier to prime minister should be required to study chemistry 101 before formulating policy, perhaps then they might understand that Carbon dioxide and Nitrogen are plant foods NOT pollutants. Once that concept is learned they might progress to the idea that energy production improves wealth and health, and weather dependent energy sources are unreliable, expensive and a visual blight.
Word salad policies produce nothing but misery and poverty for the populace. Strange that Holland seems to be on the same path as Sri Lanka.

  10. LOLs.. Transition to a knowledge-based economy.. This top down government green policy is going to be the end of us.. Why?..
All the farmers were on welfare / government subsidies to begin with.. Saying no to sugar daddy is asking to go it alone..

So.. Government wonks who know nothing outside of some fluff computer model are holding all the money and calling all the shots..
Utopia is soon to follow or 50 000 people storming your parliament buildings.. Same / same..

Our bright new angry peasant future awaits..

  11. Someone, somewhere in time spelled it out.

The road to hell is paved with good intentions.

    Well, no shit, sherlocks.

  12. He uses a lot of big words. I’ve translated it into plain English for plebes like me:

“We are a nation of poor farmers. We aren’t rich. Moreover, experts say that farming is bad for the environment. So we’ll do something else instead. Something smart.

“Perhaps we’ll join the knowledge economy – that means thinking about things a lot. Or perhaps we’ll join the social market economy. We’re not sure what that is, but it sounds smart, and probably involves social media. We’ll give young entrepreneurs loans so they can sell WordPress sites on LinkedIn or make posts on social media. These are things that rich people do.

“If we do things that rich people do, we will become rich. Other countries used to buy our fruits and vegetables, but soon they will pay us to do smart things with computers instead. Who needs food?

As an emerging economy, we haven’t been taking our place in the green economy. That isn’t macroeconomic. Macroeconomic initiatives mean promoting other economies over your own. That’s what rich people do. Soon, we will become rich.”

    1. In Sri Lanka … “the knowledge economy” … consists of warehouses full of people spoofing Americans into handing over their banking password.

    1. Seems there was a bloke here who named his working dogs after Sri Lankan cricket team members

  13. There are organic farmers in canada who lobby the government in an attempt to rid farming of the use of nitrogen. I’m not making this up.

If you really want famine and widespread starvation go organic.

  14. Well exavated from the Watermelon memory hole. What a great success these eco-fascists have been. Of course, some managed to escape with their loot but at least they had their knockers singed.
