      Having said that, I’m now going to say this: I still haven’t heard any rational justification for Russia to INVADE Ukraine in the first place.
      Sure I’ve seen some fake news glorifying Ukraine’s heroism and patriotism, and I think I now understand the Strategy of the invading force, but one thing I cannot excuse, is that the Russians *ARE* invading Ukraine, and *ARE CLEARLY* the aggressors, so I’m not going to just buy into the fact that the Russians could have easily destroyed Ukraine if they wanted to. They could have just as easily chose *NOT* to invade in the first place.

      So, I’m sorry, but I’m not going to buy into any of the propaganda coming from either side. I’m going to wait this out until I have more information… enough to form a more enlightened opinion. I took that approach with Covid, and I do not regret doing that one bit.

    So, is this a threat on western Canadian steel makers? The Trudeau Liberals want to sanction a publicly listed company whose subsidiary produces steel pipelines in canada for a Canadian pipeline project because one of the shareholders of that publicly traded company is a Russian billionaire of the parent company of the Canadian subsidiary. That seriously stretches the economic “guilt by association” rationale. Am I missing something or is this just a continuation of Trudeau’s attacks on prairie industries and pipelines?

Despite deficits lining up to the horizon and a debt that’s doubled in the last several years, they actually announced another $2.7 billion to be spent on climate, which really means wasted on bike lanes and consultants with zero analysis of actual cost and benefit.

Anyone in the oil and gas biz knows that finding, producing, processing and transporting production has a lot of associated risk that cannot be “regulated” away. Someone must be willing to take those risks to find the quantities required to meet demand. Imagine what the results would be if oil and gas exploration was ordered by Gov’t. A whole lotta empty tanks.
