    2. We need to know more about these cases. Are they elderly? In poor health? And how many? How many at the party? Also, were they vaccinated or not. The news reports are short on details.

        Of the 191 deaths in September, up to the 20th, 119 have been un-vaccinated and 72 were vaccinated – 62.30% & 37.70% respectively. 46% were over 80 years of age and 23% were 70-79 years of age, leaving 31% in the below 70 age categories. (1-20+, 3-30+, 7-40+, 11-50+, 37-60+, 44-70+, 88-80+ for 191 total). It is in these older ages that you will see most of the vaccine breakthroughs and deaths, although a good number of those in this age group show as unvaccinated deaths as well.

        1. Note that those vaccinated within the previous 2 weeks are, per directive, listed as unvaccinated. So any adverse vaccine reactions are added to the list as unvaccinated to swell the numbers and hype the fear.

    The FDA assured the public that it will provide transparency for any COVID-19 vaccine it approves. That promise would surely include letting the public know what is in the vial being injected into the arms of millions of people. Nonetheless, the FDA has chosen to hide from the public an ingredient that constitutes more than 20% of the undiluted vial of each Pfizer vaccine!

    Upon licensure of the Pfizer vaccine, the FDA authorized a fact sheet to be given to the public, which includes a list of ingredients in the vaccine. Amazingly, this list doesn’t mention a secret ingredient. What is the secret ingredient? Nobody knows other than Pfizer and the FDA. In the technical documentation that is not intended for general public distribution, the FDA disclosed that this secret ingredient constitutes about 22% of the undiluted vial (0.45 mL of 2 mL) but completely redacted the name of the secret ingredient.

    ICAN’s attorneys immediately contacted the FDA and asked for the redaction to be lifted. However, the FDA refused to do so without a formal demand. Therefore, ICAN, through its attorneys, submitted a formal demand to the FDA to disclose the identity of the secret ingredient.

    ICAN believes that the public has a right to know what makes up over 20% of the undiluted volume of each Pfizer vaccine that federal, state, and local governments in the United States, and in other countries around the world, are mandating their citizens receive. We will never stop demanding full transparency from government agencies and officials because without transparency, informed consent is not possible.

    My summary: People used to get chicken pox. Then they were vaccinated. Now rates of chickenpox-related shingles is on the rise – 50-60 years later, especially among younger people – the very group that is not supposed to get the outbreak.

      1. Nancy, that can’t be true. Shingles has been increasing almost every year for 50-60 years. Covid-19 mRNA injections are less than 2 years old (am I mistaken?). I have no doubt we will see covid-related health problems 20-30 years from now.

          I recently read an article that said, “just because something happens soon after you get the vaccine, that doesn’t mean the vaccine caused it”.

          Full disclosure, I had the chicken pox as a child and fought it off and then in the 1980s had a bout with very painful shingles. (the two are related)

          I also had a bout with a painful chest flu which might’ve been COVID 19. This happened just before it was announced that CV-19 was here. Fought that off as well. I still don’t know if it was CV- 19.

          So, if we are to live in a free World, everyone is in fact entitled to do as they see fit with the health of their own bodies.

      3. Nancy – youngest offspring had shingles some years ago. Minor in that only on one arm instead of around body, but still a problem.

        1. On one arm, eh. Was he or she previously vaccinated?
          Perhaps it’s not as painful as one who wasn’t vaccinated as like myself. Mine went around in a circle on the back and round to the upper legs. The pain felt like penetrating needles and the Doc prescribed antibiotics. Felt well pretty quickly and didn’t miss work at all. I believe it reoccurred due to a lowered immune system due to stress. It was during the month of January when days were short which didn’t help.

  33. Defence of the realm in order to fight the virus is an excuse to be rude and belligerent, as I found out earlier today.

    I had a dental appointment and, as I was settling the account (maskless as I was on my way out), one of the front office staff stormed up to me, shoved a face diaper at me, and barked at me to put it on. My sarcastic response, along the lines of “oh, dear, we’re going to have to do this again” set off Karen. I received a tirade about how it was Alberta Dental Association rules, blah blah blah.

    When I told her that she wasn’t being professional (as a true professional can say the same thing with the same objective but be considerably more polite about it), she insisted she was by following the “rules”. (Uh, no. A trained monkey can follow rules. Professionalism is an attitude and a way one conducts oneself. She didn’t display that.)

    She didn’t take kindly to my telling her that it was all based on a scientific fallacy, responding that I was entitled to my opinion. (The fact that the masks are far too porous to block the bug is now an “opinion”, eh?) She eventually shut up when I dug out my own mask.

    Oh, the kid insisted that she wasn’t being rude, but that I was the one who was for not immediately obeying her and expressing dissent.

    Fun, huh?

    1. She must’ve forgot who pays her salary. You pay her salary. If she talked to everyone like that, they’d all zoom off to another dentist’s office. I usually quit a place when they’re rude. Also, ever notice how the rudeness factor rises with the event of the full moon, give or take 3 days? Sorry for your misfortune, there are some people who shouldn’t work in the public realm.

      1. I didn’t make much of an issue as I had just started with that outfit again. (The reason I went back there was because one of the dentists and I knew each other from when I was her university dental clinic lab rat.)

        Many of us were “overly enthusiastic” when we were younger. (Not that I’d know anything about that sort of thing–yeah, right.) But lots of us eventually smartened up by the time we finally grew up.

        I usually give people a second chance as, for all I knew, the kid was having a bad day (e. g., grandma’s sick, the cat got run over). I have to go back next week, so I’ll try to give her a wide berth.

    This also explains why, the more that Israeli leadership moves to the right, both politically and religiously, the less solidarity liberal American Jews feel with Israel, despite its importance to them. Many evangelical Christians are actually surprised to learn that they appear to feel more loyalty to Israel than do their American Jewish friends.
    Orthodox Jews and Evangelicals

    As for the growing number of Orthodox Jews that identify as Republican, up from 57 percent in 2013 to 75 percent today, one headline declared, “In voting, Orthodox Jews are looking more like evangelicals.”

    As the story reported, “Among Orthodox Jewish Trump voters, Israel, Iran and terrorism were among the top concerns cited in a survey by Nishma Research, a Connecticut-based polling firm. Among Orthodox Jewish Biden voters, the coronavirus pandemic, ‘bringing the country together’ and health care were the top three issues.” (I might ask here how that vote for Biden to deal effectively with COVID and to bring the country together is looking right now.)

    This indicates, then, that American Jews are more divided by ideology than they are united by religious faith, since there is a massive gulf between traditional Judaism and liberal Judaism, just as there is between conservative Christianity and liberal Christianity.

    In this light, it will be interesting to see what voting patterns emerge if traditional Jews continue to grow in number while the number of liberal Jews continues to drop. (See, already, this prediction from 2016.) And this, in turn, would likely result in a growing voting solidarity between Orthodox Jews and Christian conservatives.

    Isn’t this why so many evangelical Christians are fans of Modern Orthodox voices like Ben Shapiro while men like Rabbi Daniel Lapin, himself Orthodox, spend most of their time speaking to Christian audiences? The plot thickens.
