I don’t know about Nachel Rotley, but David Eggen has a pure hate on for Catholics. It goes beyond politics with him and seems to be deeply personal, bordering on pathological.
I was talking to one of David Eggen’s former students. She said that she would not be alone in the same room with him when he was her teacher. He would creep out all the young girls.

Thing is, Christians are a soft target. They no longer stand up for their faith. Further, one of the few things the left is aware of is that there actually isn’t a god, so they don’t fear anything supernatural happening to them.

I was raised Catholic. I grew up (50s and 60’s) believing that sex was a sin, if and when performed outside of holy matrimony. Did any of us ever abide by the rule? I would hardly think so. The church condemned all same sex relationships. That rule I adhered to. The Sisters at our school informed us that, if for example two boys were caught in the act, the Mounties would pick them up and haul them away to jail in Regina. Regina jails, then and now, were not a Holiday Inn.
There was a joke about two boys being caught ”going at it” in the back seat of a 66 Ford. The Mountie had snuck up to the two boys who were parked in a vacant farm yard. When the Mountie went back to the car to radio dispatch and ask the Corporal what charges should be laid, the Corporal replied, ”Charge them with arson.” I grew up in a town where we had an RCMP Detachment, I’m 68, I’ve never heard of a man or woman ever being charged with homosexual crimes.
We had one priest who was NDP. He once spoke out in church against the Liberal government of Pierre Trudeau. Most priests were Liberal, not because of the socialist movement that was prevalent in some rural communities, but because of the Trudeau Liberals strong support for bilingualism that was quite widespread in the French-Irish-English catholic communities sprinkled across Saskatchewan. My Dad was a strong supporter of John Diefenbaker, provincially he supported Ross Thatcher, keeping mind that the Progressive Conservatives were non-existent in Sask. for many years.
There was only one priest (who served in our community for a very short time) that was ever charged with sex abuse. It was a case where he had relations with a young lady who happened to be his relative. The charges were laid over 30 years after the fact in a distant city. Most priests and nuns I met were OK. A few were assholes, but then, there are assholes everywhere. I no longer attend church. I went to a Baptist church for many years, the local congregation is now defunct, I believe God lives in our heart, and not in buildings.
I didn’t go to a Catholic school, although several nuns were on the teaching staff. The school board had an agreement with the congregation, they taught in a few Public schools in SW Sask. In the 60’s, many of them left the order and went on their own.
As for Notley, she’s done. If she was in a Santa Claus parade on 16th ave in Calgary, and was throwing $100 dollar bills at the crowd, Jason Kennedy would still win that seat in the next election. In a way, it’s sad that a political party was given a great province such as Alberta, and did nothing positive with it. I don’t hate NDPers, if in their minds they really believe in what the party philosophy stands for. And that’s always been a problem with NDPers. They don’t trust their mind.
The NDPee and liberals are always focused on their “hoohahs”, thats because its all they can get their little pea brains around. Things like getting our oil to tidewater and financial problems are so far remote to these morons they twaddle back to their twats and Anthonys for something they can play with on an even field with each other. Same as the federal moron feminist, big ticket items to address, but when your a stunted adolescent you run back to playing childish games, sad very sad, we used to be such a business powerhouse here in Alberta and now the governments spends millions to worry about lgbDQers and what they do with their doodads, sick sick people are running the show.

Noticed a few comments about the ‘union slob’ work ethics of public educators. Unfortunately, they are bang on the money. I know about 8 or 10 public school teachers and they are union slobs first and foremost, dedicated pooch screwers second after that they branch out into deplorable basket of mixed vegetables and froots – if ya catch my drift.
They absolutely do see home educators and private schools as a personal threat – and well they should. Students from those backgrounds will wipe the academic mat with public school students. Roman Catholic schools are in the Alberta Act and part of the Constitution. The office of premier is not.
The whole purpose of Separate schools is to provide religious moral instruction. Why do the commies insist that because the schools are publicly funded, they must tow the Marxist line. Roman Catholics pay taxes too.

Having made my position clear…I would also say I’m pretty much an agnostic, could care less about organized religion, and have some serious concerns over the lack of admitting they have an issue (Catholic Kiddie Abusers), yet one who believes there are still some redeeming moral values taught within the Judeo-Christian Separate School system.
A much more preferred system than one where ideology reigns supreme…and learning how to write – read – punctuate – std math skills – Chemistry – Physics – Biology are the main courses as opposed to Marxist BS – Climate Change BS – Benjamin Levi style sex education etc.

Agree, but in all truth the Catholic Organization is pretty huge, and comparative to many other large organizations with internal abuse issues. Like the Boy Scouts of America, Big Brother, the Anglican Church both in the US and Australia. Islam as an overall ideology, even some Mormons & Jehovah’s are easy picks, but lets not overlook the plethora of secular government organizations like Child Protective Services, UN peacekeepers, Family Adoption Services, the Canadian minor hockey league, Penn State and on and on………
Just say’n it’s easy to scapegoat one major Organization and overlook the same problems with others.
