I am not defending the prez at all but i think he was tring to say that we all get help from someone at some point through our lives (not necessarily the government) and if that is his point sure it is valid to me if his point is that nobaody could do anything without govoenrment he is bat sh!t crazy .

People help people that is what we do it is a good thing , when the goovnernment says they are here to help you …turn and run …if a nieghbour offers help accept hopefully they are good nieghbours and would never expect you to help them out because they helped youo ut . that is not how it works.

No matter what iti s for if someone ask’s me to borrow money i ask myself could i drive down the deerfoot and throw this money out the window and never worry about it again ? If yes and it is not some stupid amout i will probly do it .
Same with offering my help to someone if i offer to help someone am i o.k. with giveing freely my time and effort in exchange for nothing …if i am then i do it if not if i have limitied time then i decline ..i never worry about paying someone back for something they do for me for free (i often insist on some sort of payment) becasue if they expect me to help them later on down the road then i end any and or all communication with that person .
You do not do favors for people in hopes of them “paying you back ever” you do it bwecasue it feels good knowing you made someone elses life alittle easier andn ever bring it up again ..ever!!! unless it is appropriate conversation like laughing at something that happend while doing this task that you can both laugh at!! other wise never bring it up again.

Hmm… the depth of this reaction rivals that of the teaparty’s beginnings. PErhaps in the fullness of time this may be seen as the event – the self-disclosure of who obama really is – anti-the american dream – that ends his bid for re-election.
Had to sift through some nasty comments of people being shown up by the ingenuity and hard work of the average American and read those who had their intelligence insulted by this “president”.
Obama’s statement was facile, arrogant, self-serving and hypocritical. All he has to show for his time is ruination.
What is so sad is that Obama fundamentally does not understand where the government gets its money to build roads and pay teachers, etc. It comes from people earning an income and businesses of all sizes generating profit which in turn is taxed allowing the government to stuff. As most socialist countries find out at some point when people are not earning or generating income that others earn – it doesn’t take long before governments really don’t have any money to do anything with.
And remember, at one time, people built their own roads (and charged a toll), and people taught their own kids (many still do and do a good job of it) but decided that it was better for society as a whole for the government to do this things. The assumption was that the government would do them better or more efficiently than individuals (ha, that’s a laugh) – however as governments continue to waste taxpayer dollars are things that are useless, taxpayers are questioning that assumption.
Drive through Canadian oil country and you’ll see thousands of pump jacks lazily bobbing away. At the bottom end of those jacks, you’ll often find a

Obama doesnt seem to get the concept that the secret of any businesses sucess is not the workers,but its the good idea and the the customers that purchase the product of that good idea,together with the support of the product after the sale.
