I’m sitting in the Air Canada lounge here in T.O…..and no National Post in sight, so I reluctantly grab a G&M (the only other choice was the TO Star . I couldn’t bring myself to read this article as I leafed through the paper….I saw her picture, and I just couldn’t imagine the thought of what she had to say as being relevant…is that sexist?
I couldn’t bring myself to read Jane Taber’s column, but I would guess it is worse than the “Tart” column.
This is the first G&M I have looked at for a long time….besides Christie Blatchford and Margaret Wente, there isn’t a lot of talent there, is there?

You know, I bet Mulroney would return the money if he really thought it would make a difference to the positive of what his detractors thought of him. But it wont make a difference, his critics have made that clear.
The money doesnt change the libel that Alan Rock initiated and Kimberly Prost carried out. If the Canadian public want their money back get it out each of their pensions. They made the the professional mistake.
Mulroney’s testimony made no difference as to whether the libel happened. The federal government settled, a judge MIGHT have made it worse.
So back to her original point, why should Mulroney give a darn about what she or any of the other commentators think, they were the ones who drooled over the possibilities and were befuddled and disappointed there was no hanging.

Just wondering if anyone else gets the sense that Donolo was inserted into Icky’s adviser role as a means of sabatage. Things have gone from bad to worse for the Igg ever since old’ Cretch’s bum boy Donolo was inserted into the role of media filter for the Igg. Now, as Kevin B points out, the media are musing about a possible return of “The little gangster from Shawnigan”. I know it sounds a tad conspiratorial, but could there be some nefarious plan at work to undermine Icky, that then sees the old gangster, Cretch riding back to Ottawa on a stolen unicorn, in order to save the Trudeaupian empire, and the Librano brand…? It sounds crazy, but the Librano’s are all about “getting back to power”, at any cost, so I wonder if this type of desperate scenario is actually in the works.
The Cretch will be a player, Sean, but he will be the puppetmaster of Boob Rae, who will attempt to be the uniting force of the Fiberals and the Marxists, as he is still a Dipper at heart, but wearing Fiberal colours of convenience.
