Thanks, TG! (That’s a quote from Stalin, by the way.)
Does anybody notice the strong resemblence to Rene Levesque? Could he and Cretin be evil twins, separated at birth? Seriously, that cyclops-like glare is definitely familiar – last seen looking out across a sea of compliant journalists shrugging off a few million that were lost or stolen in the name of unity. Seriously…Look hard. You’ll see the fate of our country reflected in this guy’s mug shot.
Mrs Thatcher is on to something in her appraisal of the posted charicature. Many years ago, before I fled the leftist takeover of Vermont, I met Rene Levesque at an academic whoop-dee-do in Burlington. I was sitting next to him and asked him, “What is it in Quebec that would sustain its independence?” Mr. Levesque screwed up his face into a somewhat thinner and lupine version of the afore-mentioned charicature (he had the most piercing blue eyes) and blew cigarette smoke at me. I got the message, albeit not the one he intended to deliver.
Jeff, just be glad he didn’t bend over and blow it out …well, you get it. That’s the way he approached the rest of Canada.
I noticed the resemblance. But the lack of the comb-over spoiled it. The eyes are Chretien’s for sure. The sideburns Rene’s, no doubt.
Peer even closer (after a beer in the hot sun) and you can even see Alfonso Gagliano. Now, the question is, which one was born on the wrong side of the sheets, as my Irish grandmother used to say? It’s quite frightening, this. Ought to be shown to every aspiring Liberal MP to see if they really want to join a club that had this hybrid as a member.
Yeah! Now I see Gagliano right away now that you mention him! Could be that glass of tawny port helped…
Anyone else you see in the eerie sketch? The ugly little dude probably wears knee-high black socks and sandals with longish plaid shorts.
The mouth looks a tad like Joe Volpe’s, don’t you think? And I think the nose could be John McCallum? Could all Liberal-kind be borne of the same gene pool? Is there a criminal gene inherent in liberalism? Where’s Steyn when we need him? He’ll be able to help us out here.
Volpe=vulpine. You could look it up.

The Consortium and the Librano$
David Dingwall was public works minister, and Alphonso Gagliano was also public works minister. Obviously, the public works office has been corrupted for a long time and has been a regular feature in the interface for financial matters having to do with gangsters and the government. (As quietly as possible, we would assume.)
Because of Gagliano, we understand some of the connections that otherwise would be obscure to us. Gagliano and Don Vito Ruzzio both were members of the Bonanno crime family. Gagliano may have had a government job, but his real career was with the same outfit that Ruzzio works for. (Ruzzio is still trying to avoid extraditon to the United States for being part of a hit team that knocked off all those guys that you saw in the movie Donnie Brasco.)
So Gagliano and Ruzzio are both Bonannos. Gagliano worked in the same office as David Dingwall. (And of course, Dingwall was put there by people who wanted him there, just like Gagliano.)
Don Vito Ruzzio (the godfather of Montreal) is part of the “Consortium.” The Consortium is a power sharing arrangement among the Mafia, the West End Gang, and the Hell’s Angels. The West End Gang exercises a huge control on the docks and has been an ongoing criminal organization since the early 1900s. They’re the Irish guys. Lots of time to ingratiate themselves into the political establishment. Everybody is into dope.
So in conclusion, it seem to me that the public works office has been corrupted for a long time. Some of the gangsters who have occupied the office are directly involved with the most powerful Mafia family in Canada. That Mafia family does not operate in isolation, but is part of a triad of organized crime that includes the West End Gang as well as the Hell’s Angels.
The Librano$ obviously appoint a lot of people who make sure the operation functions as they wish it to.
More Good News! Redundancy. I love it. If Mozilla’s Foxfire gets a temporary problem. Then I can switch to using …. Opera..
Opera Internet Browser? You bet. It’s been cleaned up… modernized… streamlined and most importantly.. SIMPLIFIED. The hallmark of good design.
But that’s not the good news.. It’s free now , to download and you can get it from :
It’s brand new to me and already I seem to like it. Enjoy TonyGuitar
Opera is a browser? I thought it was something with a fat lady wearing a horned helmet screeching in Italian…
Reminds me of who’s going to be singing at Paulie’s campaign HQ a month after the Gomery Report 😉
Stephen mentions the fat lady has sung. Well it is a nice long thread.

We Tonys don’t allways spell perfectly, but we get the picture fairly straight..eh?
Yeah, I remember that too from years go.. When I lived in Moncton New Brunswick,
the saying; *VOTE Early, VOTE Often*, Those were the good old days eh? A group llike a club or church gang could really swing things in those days.
Your view that separation wise, *you don’t think Quebec will be the first to go.*
I sure agree with you there. Quebec has tractor trailer loads of golden eggs coming in regularily from Alberta, what’s the point of leaving paradise anyway?
Besides, the USA would *occupy* Quebec / Labrador Hydro and the St. Lawrence Seaway anyway.
I often write a comment in the word processor, spell check it and paste it here. These guys now think I can spell… sort of, except The Canadian Sentinel. He knows I’ve been trying to spell *Sentinel* for a week now… but I’ve got it under control. 73s TG
Peter Loewen how many votes do you get.
first if you are going to rig the vote the easiest way to do it is when someone from elections canada shows up at your door add a few names, they do not check for ID. At least mine haven’t.
One of my immigrant co workers claims his brother in law registers 5 times to vote how many do you get.
He has never dropped their name for me to pursue a complaint.
but if you come from a country that has no democracy why take it seriously?
Thanks, TG! (That’s a quote from Stalin, by the way.)
