      1. And now the UN has asked us to help at the southern border, where people are in a pissy because Trump has been able to stop the flow with the new resusitation of first safe country legislation… So Princess Petunia will be all Soros like and want to fly thousands up here. As WE pay for it of course.

  1. In Canada, expressing political points contrary to those held by the Liberal Party of Canada is a hate crime.

    1. as was said, everything is a crime in Canada. I post things daily, that if I was considered of any significance, would land me in jail.

  2. I really, really like Canadians; they are genuinely nice people, both the snowbirds who live among us (for at least part of the year) here in Jacksonville, Florida, and the ones I have met during my visits to your beautiful country. Even in Quebec, which has a reputation for being less than effusively welcoming to foreigners, I have found the people infected by Canadian niceness, and I have never had a negative experience with them. (I’m sure it helps that I speak passable French . . . but I digress.) Thus, I am sincerely saddened by what has happened to your society during the past few decades, especially as the virus that infects your government and cognitive elites is working its way through our body politic. God help us all.

    1. Incredible. Someone on SDA with some historical literacy.

I’d only add that The New Deal was never fully implemented in Canada. Did not go whole hog on that madness.

  3. “You can’t even fart in Canada without paying a carbon tax!”

Now you have made me a tax cheat…along with all the facking phobes

    1. It’s free if nobody notices, but worth every penny in a crowded elevator full of liberals.

  4. FYI Canada made the hate Americans list.. One of the 25 countries where >50% hate Americans… If they had asked CBC it would have been 100%…. Canada is in good Company… Russia & China not on the List

    1. Canadians who don’t like Americans haven’t met many Americans. I love small town America. I used to like Seattle but it’s even becoming a Shthole.

      1. I concur. During the years that I’ve been a ham, I’ve spoken with hundreds of my American counterparts and I don’t recall any of them being rude or snarky with me on the air. I’ve also had the privilege of being the first Canadian contact for a number of them.

Here’s an interesting side story to this. I’ve often sent verification cards if I’ve made a new contact or worked a new location. It’s customary to offer to pay for the postage for an acknowledgement and I usually included a loonie.

Rarely is that money ever returned. In one case, the ham in question informed me that he would use the coin as a ball marker when he’s out playing golf. Another gave it to a youngster a few doors down from where he lived because the kid was a numismatist. Most graciously thanked me for the currency, which they planned on using if they sent verification cards to any future Canadian contacts.

  5. My question for Michelle is: why doesn’t SHE just leave?

Nothing is going to get better under the Dairy Queen even if his Tories win the election. What’s keeping her in Calgary, much less Ottawa? A chance at being a useful idiot of the Dairy Queen?

Once Old Glory is flying over liberated Calgary, and the Librano gang and their collaborators in the other federal parties are in exile or in American prisons, then Michelle’s husband can consider whether it is worth his making a life in Alberta with his wife. For now, Michelle’s place is by his side. She should go there and stay there.

The last person Calgary-Nose Hill needs as its MP is a woman who doesn’t know when she’s well off.

God help me, Mr. Garner should give more thought to how badly he wants someone like that as a wife.

  6. We, the unwashed, should be grateful, nay, dancing in the streets for joy that we’ve been privileged to live in the domain of and be ruled by Prinz Dummkopf the Magnificent.

Everything he does turns to gold. Every one of His Majesty’s utterances conveys more wisdom, knowledge, and insight that those of all the scholars and learned men in the world combined for the last 1000 years.

I’m so unworthy to live in this most blessed of (post-national, sharia-compliant, gender-balanced, carbon neutral Soros vassal built on stolen indigenous land) countries.

The foregoing was written in satire. Unfortunately, His Doltishness probably believes it.

(Hey Captcha! A tractor-trailer unit isn’t a bus. What do you think Jerry Reed’s character was driving in Smoky and the Bandit?)

  7. Rempel should keep her private life private,
Seems the politicians, no matter the flavor, are just so impressed with themselves, they have to talk about it on constant basis.

  8. Smug, ignorant, sobbish Canadians make me f**king sick. We should be paying 10% of the US military budget with a smile. Joke of a country.

    1. Buddy you are absolutely right we should be paying 10%

But that’s what happens when the LibCons have always been in power.

      Time for a change

    2. Why should we pay 10% of US military budget? Do you really think the US would come to Canada’s aid if Canada was attacked?

The US was late showing up for WW1 and WW2. The US looks after their interests. Just as most countries do.

And in modern times the US tends to show up, fights, and then leaves before the job is done.

      1. “Why should we pay 10% of US military budget? Do you really think the US would come to Canada’s aid if Canada was attacked?” JOE
Joe explain the reason why the Alaska Hi-way was built during WWII…..Not allowing a build up of Foreign Military resources on the North American Continent would seem reasonable…..

        1. Slap shot

Why was the Alaska highway built? Hint it wasn’t to defend Canada.

          Which is my point.

        1. Canada does even show up. Good.

Showing up and not finishing the job, just wastes soldiers lives and tax payers money.

If you are going to fight a war, decide why you are fighting it, and then fight to win.

Korea, Vietnam, Iraq 1, Afghanistan, and Iraq 2 are all examples where the US “showed up”, but didn’t know what it wanted to do.

For example: in Iraq 2. If the objective was to get Sadam, the US should have left as soon A’s they caught him. But no, they stayed and stayed and stayed.

Don’t go to war unless you want to win.

    1. unDork, do you ever git it rite???? 18 is the legal drinking age in only 3 provinces, and MJ is only partly legal. MJ will only be full legal when the cops quit arresting those who didn’t buy at the tax store.

      1. It’s 19 in the other provinces which is still lower than 21

“MJ will only be full legal when the cops quit arresting those who didn’t buy at the tax store.”

Bit of a forced point. The cops seem pretty apathetic at this point. De facto if not de jure.

    2. What a moron! 45 states allow drinking at 18 and 11 states have allowed recreational MJ. Typical dumb leftist.

          1. Please do tell me what I got wrong.

I am aware that state agents are not obligated to enforce federal laws, but alas federal laws still exist and can be enforced by federal agents.

  9. According to a lot of the critics on the post the USA is a sh-thole country, why then are hundreds of thousands risking everything trying to illegally move there.

  10. Every last lefty in this country should personally write a letter of thanks to the USA for the billions we save in defense spending that helps them live their soft lives in this welfare country.

  11. Michelle is fortunate; she has the capability to go with her husband “back to where he came from”, I’d move there if I could legally do so. As it stands I have to reside in my home and native land six months per year. Happily, summers in Saskatchewan are quite tolerable, although they don’t usually last six months.

  12. Isn’t she the one that had a problem with free speech a little while ago?

  13. as someone who has family and vested interests in the U.S., I support America and the Constitution and despise all those on the left who think that socialism/communism has made anything any better anywhere.

  14. Hey Michelle. You forgot the part about the Dairy Queen’s little sheep supporting turdo la doo on the Paris Climate Accord

  15. Oh boy, someone putting biting remarks on Twitter! And they were so biting and witty, TWITTER DIDN’T BAN THE ACCOUNT!!!!!!!!!!!

    Twitter.
    Didn’t.
    Ban.
    The.
    Account.

That is all you need to know about Michelle Rempel right there.

Twitter doesn’t let anyone who is actually making a difference stay.

    Ask Lindsay Shepherd.
    Milo Yiannopoulos.
    James O’Keefe.
    Robert Stacey McCain.
    Glenn Reynolds.

Rempel must be really good at what she does to avoid the Twit-stapo…

  16. The American that made the comment is, as is usual for Americans commenting about Canada, seriously misinformed.

I just finished three weeks touring around BC. My GF and I were both impressed that none of the BC parks we stopped at – not a single one – asked for payment. Not to camp, not to park, not to come in the gates, unlike virtually every park in Ontario I have ever visited. Talking to some people we met, I understand that it’s the same in AB and SK.

Only the FEDERAL parks, like the Pacific Rim park near Tofino, wanted our cash.
