  2. regarding Saugeen, l did the sweat lodge 3 times and was honoured to be the firekeeper once. the last one was the sweat for the dead for my beloved native friend a Nishnabe from Sarnia. l knew it was the last one. ‘sweat’ doesnt do justice. l left my wrist watch on once, had to get it off and go back next morning and fetch it.
