Sun- Ottawa’s land claims program is spiralling out of control
In the 2024-25 fiscal year alone, Ottawa settled 69 claims worth $7.1 billion. Just a decade earlier, in 2014-15, only 15 claims were settled, at a total cost of $36 million — an increase of nearly 200 times in dollar value.
This will end when they run out of other people’s money
And despite all that money, we’re considered pieces of shit by them.
Is anyone else getting completely fed up with the free land grabs the shïtstain liberals are forking over to these parasites? When’s it to be enough? When the grifters are given full rein over the country and we each pay them a yearly tithe?

Since the dawn of time land has been taken by those strong enough to take and hold it. These hapless indians had no written language, mathematics, and hadn’t even discovered the wheel. They were dispersed widely on the thousands of square miles of this country so can someone please explain how they are “owed” ever-increasing amounts of this country?
“Because they were here first!” is the usual reply I get, to which I reply “Bullshït, go tell that to the Aztecs”. And the original Indian descendants of today’s whiney money-grubbers weren’t here “first”, they migrated here like we did.
The cowardly transfer of unearned cash to them and consigning our country to these people would be less galling if they actually contributed to society. Ironically, the ones who do and deserve respect have left the reservations to their layabout brethren and ventured to become contributing members of the country. They aren’t the ones looking for eternal handouts, and they deserve credit. As for the reservation sloth, their contributions to this country – next to cheap reservation smokes and gas – are nil.

My liberal friend used to be a lawyer specializing in land claims. He claimed to be perplexed as to why the feds would tie up these claims in courts for years, since payment was inevitable. The answer is simple: if Ottawa was seen as a pushover, there would be enough of an avalanche of claims to push the government into bankruptcy.
I would have less objections (but still have objections) if the money was going to the First immigrant people and not the Indian Industry. Unfortunately the lawyers Chiefs and bureaucrats skim most of the gravy. Bypass the fraudsters and pay justifiable any money to individuals affected.
