The Politico piece by Jonathan Martin might be the first of the era that needs to be read entirely between the lines. White House officials are “carefully weighing” preemptive pardons really means White House officials already decided, but are publicly floating the idea. Pardons for “those who’ve committed no crimes” means those who’ve committed crimes.

What did the American population expect? They voted for a lying sleazy Democrat and that is exactly what they got with Joe Biden, his crime family and administration.

Biden wasn’t elected. He was installed. The 2020 election was a farce. It was a soft coup in the guise of democracy.
Understanding that and then doing nothing about it is the same as voting for it.
I am hopeful that these parties will still be liable to class-action lawsuits, despite presidential pardons. Pardons for individuals who have not been charged with crimes is the height of liberal insanity and must immediately be elevated to the Supreme Court. We shall see.
Pardons only cover criminal liability, not Civil.
I think the relative quite from the Democrat party and their attack corgi the MSM is because the party has been drained of funds, the chiefs are divided between the Joe and Camels factions and fighting for their stapled together, rained on, preschool paper crown for some of it. The bigger reason it’s so quite is that “The Blob” that runs everything is all too busy threatening to kill everyone, hammering every phone, burying every bathroom server and shredding galaxies of memos to create another Orange Man Bad gotcha.

In Canada, they don’t even have to bother with this kind of crap.
No matter who is elected as PM, the entire state apparatus remains firmly owned by the left.

Something tells me that PP, if he is actually declared the winner of the next election — whenever it may occur — will find himself putting up with the same crap from the Canadian “administrative state” that DJT had to deal with in his first go-around.
I certainly hope that PP has taken notes, so that he is well prepared for what he’s going to be facing. The opposition won’t be coming from the lie-berals in the opposition benches of the HoC. It appears that the libs will be wiped out, and may not even achieve party status.
The Hunter Biden pardon was a dangerous precedent. This just lowers the bar to the ground.

Presidential pardons are enshrined in the consitution, but it’s a crappy idea.
At this rate, Biden might as well pardon every person in the United States just to be on the safe side.

They may get a pardon, but they can still be investigated.
Governments are criminal organizations. A criminal organization at the scale of the US government is capable of corrupting millions of people, their institutions, nations and alliances. Trump’s appointees, if fully onboard and as pure as the driven snow, are not enough get beyond scratching the surface. Too bad about Fauci. Nothing short of the noose would be justice for him.
Simply put, Biden has no choice at all. We are focused on the domestic aspect of clemency pardons and how they relate to activities that took place over the last 8 years. But, the fly in the ointment is foreign activities. Biden invoked the use of foreign intelligence agencies to circumvent US law in the pursuit of Trump.
Trump is taking a very hard line on trade as the word “tariff” is bantered about. Countries like the UK, who was very much involved in denying Trump (overtly in some respects) will now have to curry favor with Trump to secure a solid economy. Currying favor comes in many flavors. And, dropping the goods on the current administration is not off the table. The same could be said for Australia.
And, as we have seen, the globalist leaders are dropping like flies of late as “nationalist” leaders are carrying the day. Romania is the latest in that regard. Expect something similar in France, Germany and Austria. All of these countries will want to gain advantages with the incoming administration, and Biden will become the whipping boy.
Can a presidential pardon be rescinded? The US gov’t has a ton of checks & balances. Is there one that applies here?
One expects the Whitehouse will be very busy up to Jan. 20th with getting signatures on the -thousands- of pardons they are going to need for all their operatives.
Also, I think if #LetsGoBrandon -really- wants to stick the knife in he’ll pardon #Nancy, #Hitlery&WildBill, #Bary&Moochelle, maybe #McConnel and a few more. Just for the optics. “But I didn’t do anything!!!” isn’t going to play well.
Phantom, you raise a good point. Brandon is seething over the way the he got punted. He slapped the party pretty hard when he pardoned jr. especially after he said he wouldn’t. I think San Fran Na Obama etc thought he might actually not issue the pardon and save the party the embarrassment. They must be shitting bricks hoping he doesn’t start disclosing where the bodies are buried.
After 40 years in DC Brandon feels very entitled. The party establishment owes him. He might not go quietly.

Being pardoned for crimes one is not yet charged with,is a blatant boast of having actually committed the crimes.
Or at least Sleepy Joe’s managers are boasting of these crimes being committed,by those they chose to pardon.
So all who receive these “pardons” will now need to prove their innocence or be hanged.
You can pardon someone for a crime they haven’t committed if they were unjustly convicted. You can pardon someone who has committed a crime and has been convicted. But you can’t pardon someone for a crime they are going to commit. Pardons are only backwards looking.
I think what’s being kicked around in the Whitehouse is if you can pardon someone for a crime that they haven’t yet been charged with or convicted of. That’s a forward pardon and I’m not sure that is permitted. Sticky wicket, that.
