At present, more than 162,000 Quebecers are languishing on wait lists for elective (or non-urgent) surgery, including nearly 11,000 who have been waiting for their operation for at least a year.

Contrary to what the proponents of Obamakkare stated … I have never, ever, waited or been denied medical service by my ewwwwwwww private medical insurance plan. In fact, my hip replacement surgery (which is the single most positive life changing medical procedure of my life) was performed on MY urgent schedule with no problem whatsoever. And the surgery was ANTERIOR … where masses of muscles aren’t cut and recovery is so quick that I was literally walking the hospital hallways 5 hours after my surgery. The procedure is ridiculously high tech with a specialized operating table table that laser measures both hips to ensure alignment … God Bless PRIVATE Medical Insurance. I’ve enjoyed the BEST medical care in the world.
