…pollster Frank Graves says he’s seeing the worst level of despair since he began polling in the 1990s and says the challenge for the government is to provide optimism, security, and prosperity.
The challenge is to get out of the way. Governments don’t “lead” anything they provide support. They are public servants, they are elected to serve.
So if it only takes President Trump a couple words directed at Canada to give the Lieberals a boost, it proves Canada is a retard colony.

I notice the hill times didn’t bother giving the confidence interval for any of the polls that they reference, so we can assume they are self selecting poll takers.
And really, the polls don’t matter until election day (and in some cases not even that day).

While there are many things wrong with Canada, our credit rating is among the highest in the world, higher than the US. Ottawa and the provinces can go on borrowing for decades. Our biggest problem is that governments overreach and waste tax and borrowed dollars on trying to subsidize exports instead of using these funds to make their services better. Classic example is when Trump mused about tariffs on films, the minister claimed that our federal government has a $5B fund to support the film industry. That’s a primary reason that Trump mentioned tariffs. So much export is subsidized, no wonder.
You might think that, but you would be wrong. The combined provincial and federal deficits are on track to exceed $200 Billion this year, even more atrocious than the US deficit, measured against GDP. We will go over 100% this year, and that is heading into worse economic times. Canada is over. Shithole.
