Service Canada tells me I make more than $90,000 a year and so am ineligible for the federal dental plan. I wish I earned that kind of money, but if Service Canada cared to check my tax return (they send out the Notice of Assessment and should know) they would see that my income is nowhere near $90,000. Never mind. I pay the $428 to have my tooth filled while my dentist tells me it takes at least six months for a claim to be processed under Jagmeet Singh’s signature legislation, during which time the Canadian peso will be worth even less. So as the civil service expands relentlessly, we are getting less service and it ain’t very civil. Too bad this story won’t be heard or seen on the CBC, despite their $150,000,000 gift from Canada Inc. CEO Mark Carney.
Maybe Canada needs a DOGE. I understand that Musk is currently available.
