    1. I’m a Jim Dunlop guy, too. I only use a .88mm Dunlop, as it is sturdy and suits my hard picking style.
      I had a set of those Hendrix picks, but gave them to a buddy who is a big Jimi fan.
      As for paying $35USD for a pick, not this broke cowboy. Heck, I wouldn’t spend that much on a set of strings!

      1. I just posted the Hendrix pick cause it had “psychedelic” in the title. And yeah, some of the bendy Dunlops give you an 80% pick sound, 20% string sound. No thank you.

  1. Anyone who would pay $35.00 for a guitar pick would probably take Balance of Nature. Me? Fender Heavy.

    1. Thomas, Thomas, Thomas … you just made me laugh so hard, I’m crying! What? The veggie pill is bright GREEN! And the fruity pill is ORANGE … or some weird color never found in nature. How could those capsules NOT deliver 400% of your daily recommended nutrition??

      Thank you for that

      1. De nada. The way I see it, even if the claims of BoN were true, how much fruit and vegetables could be in three capsules? Freeze drying does not reduce a tomato or apple to the size of a grain of sand. As for picks? There are great players who never even use one! LOL

        1. I wish I were good enough to not use a pick … but alas … I’m an untalented hack.

          1. I’m a fairly decent fingerpicker. I also use a flatpick and fingers, hybrid style.

  2. For acoustic, some faux tortoise shell picks do provide a clearly better audible sound, compared to plastic or nylon;
    … Martin Luxe @ $30ea! or DAWG ( David Grisman) @ $20! a pop are no better sounding than
    … Dunlop Ultex at a buck a piece

    The test was always: drop em on a wooden table top and they ring (like older silver coins),
    while the plastic & nylon do not.

    For electric,
    … any nylon with grip
